His tongue finds plain speech difficult,
Plain speech makes his tongue recoil,
And after its toil, it produces ambiguous words.
And after his toil, he speaks the obscure.
وإذاand when عصاهdisobeys him لسانهhis tongue يعتاضهhe substitutes for it
وإذا عصاه لسانه يعتاضه
بالسبwith abuse والقولand speech الشديدharsh المؤلمِhurtful
بالسب والقول الشديد المؤلمِ
And when his tongue disobeys him, he makes up for it
If his tongue disobeys, he vents
With abuse and harsh, hurtful speech.
With curses and harsh hurtful words.
