By his justice, the vicissitudes of calamity were warded off,
The blows of misfortune were warded off by his justice,
and reform became known after being unrecognized.

وبداand appeared سرورthe joy of الناسthe people بعدafter خفائهits concealment
وبدا سرور الناس بعد خفائه
وصفاand became clear شرابthe drink of الأمنsecurity بعدafter تكدرcloudiness
وصفا شراب الأمن بعد تكدر
The people’s joy appeared after its concealment,
And the people's joy emerged after lying hidden,
and security’s draught ran clear after being clouded.
and the draught of security grew clear after cloudiness.
واهتمand he concerned himself بالإنصافwith fairness فيماin what is بينناbetween us
واهتم بالإنصاف فيما بيننا
والعدلand justice بينbetween كبيرناthe great among us والأصغرand the lesser
والعدل بين كبيرنا والأصغر
He devoted himself to equity in all that lies between us,
And he concerned himself with fairness among us,
and to justice between the greatest of us and the least.

ولسعدهand through his good fortune سلكtrod الأنامhumankind محجةthe clear road of الthe
