وضح الهدى وعلا منارُ الدينِ

فليْهنأ الإسلامُ بالتمكينِ

Guidance has become clear, and the beacon of faith has risen.

So let Islam rejoice in its ascendancy.

ووفا السرور وجاء إبانُ الصفا

ووفا السرور وجاء إبانُ الصفا

فاليومُ يفرحُ قلبَ كل حزينِ

فاليومُ يفرحُ قلبَ كل حزينِ

And joy has come in full, and the season of serenity has arrived;

So this day gladdens the heart of every sorrowful soul.

وتدانت العلياءُ بعد بعادها

وتدانت العلياءُ بعد بعادها

وتحركت من بعد طولِ سكونِ

وتحركت من بعد طولِ سكونِ

And lofty glory drew near after being far away,

And stirred after a long stillness.

عرفتَ منازلَ أهلها فصَبت لهم

عرفتَ منازلَ أهلها فصَبت لهم

واقتادها شجوٌ وطولُ شجونِ

واقتادها شجوٌ وطولُ شجونِ

You recognized the homes of her people; then she yearned for them,

And sorrowful longing and prolonged grief led her on.

الله أكبر ما أجل قرانها

الله أكبر ما أجل قرانها

وأتم طالعها بخير قرينِ

وأتم طالعها بخير قرينِ

God is greatest! How magnificent her union,

And how perfect her fortune with the finest consort!

من في البسيطة مثل الأنبابيّ من

من في البسيطة مثل الأنبابيّ من

أقطار مغربها لأقصى الصين

أقطار مغربها لأقصى الصين

Who on earth is like al-Anbabi—from

Its western lands to the farthest reaches of China?

فهو الحكيم وإن يكن لم يستند

فهو الحكيم وإن يكن لم يستند

في حكمهِ للحدس والتخمينِ

في حكمهِ للحدس والتخمينِ

For he is the sage, though he has not relied

In his judgment on surmise and conjecture.

إن كرّ جيش المشكلاتِ أبادهُ

إن كرّ جيش المشكلاتِ أبادهُ

بصوارمِ الإيضاحِ والتبيينِ

بصوارمِ الإيضاحِ والتبيينِ

If the army of problems charges, he annihilates it

With the keen swords of clarification and elucidation.

سل عنه كتْب العلم إن تكُ في مرا

سل عنه كتْب العلم إن تكُ في مرا

تنبيك عن هذا بصدقِ يقينِ

تنبيك عن هذا بصدقِ يقينِ

Ask the books of learning about him, if you are in doubt;

They will tell you of this with true certainty.

Learning shines through Shams al-Din, the Sun of the Faith.
