Congratulations! For the garden of delight has blossomed with joy,

And within it the breeze of serenity wafted, scented with ambergris.

وقد رقصت أغصانه وتبسمت

وقد رقصت أغصانه وتبسمت

أزاهره والكون منه تعطرا

أزاهره والكون منه تعطرا

And its branches danced, and smiling were

Its blossoms; the universe grew fragrant from it.

ولاح لسعدٍ طالعُ السعد مشرقاً

ولاح لسعدٍ طالعُ السعد مشرقاً

وفي أفقِ الإقبال كوكبه سرى

وفي أفقِ الإقبال كوكبه سرى

And for Saad the rising star of good fortune appeared radiant,

And across the horizon of prosperity his star journeyed by night.

وقد باهت الدنيا بيوم زفافه

وقد باهت الدنيا بيوم زفافه

وأشرقت الأكوان واستبشر الورى

وأشرقت الأكوان واستبشر الورى

And the world gloried in his wedding day,

And the worlds shone, and humankind rejoiced.

فقلت من الأفراح فيه مؤرخاً

لتأهيل سعدٍ طالع البدر أسفرا
