فتنسينا الذي كنا لقينا
Today we shall face terrible horrors,
Today we will face terrible horrors,
So they will make us forget what we had faced.
Which will make us forget what we have faced before.
وكانتand there were فيin الحياةِlife لناfor us ظنونٌconjectures
وكانت في الحياةِ لنا ظنونٌ
وهاand behold قدindeed صارhas become مصرعُنَاour death يقيناa certainty
وها قد صار مصرعُنَا يقينا
And in life we had conjectures,
In life we had suspicions,
And behold, our death has become a certainty.
But now our doom is certain.
