أَبوكَ أَبو سوءٍ وَخالُكَ مِثلُهُ

أَبوكَ أَبو سوءٍ وَخالُكَ مِثلُهُ

وَلَستَ بِخَيرٍ مِن أَبيكَ وَخالِكا

وَلَستَ بِخَيرٍ مِن أَبيكَ وَخالِكا

Your father is an evil father, and your maternal uncle is like him.

Your father is bad and your uncle is the same

And you are no better than your father and your maternal uncle.

You are no better than your father or your uncle

وَإِنَّ أَحَقَّ الناسِ أَن لا تَلومَهُ

وَإِنَّ أَحَقَّ الناسِ أَن لا تَلومَهُ

عَلى اللُؤمِ مَن أَلفى أَباهُ كَذَلِكا

عَلى اللُؤمِ مَن أَلفى أَباهُ كَذَلِكا

And indeed, of all people, the one you should least blame

And the one who finds his father so

For baseness is one who found his father that way.

Is the least to blame for baseness
