جَزىmay He requite اللَهُGod مَخزوماًMakhzum بِأَسوَاfor the worst of صَنيعِهاits deeds
جَزى اللَهُ مَخزوماً بِأَسوَا صَنيعِها
أَبىrefused غَيرَanything but لُؤمٍbaseness كَهلُهاits grown man وَوَليدُهاand its child
أَبى غَيرَ لُؤمٍ كَهلُها وَوَليدُها
May God requite Makhzum for the worst of its deeds.
May Allah reward Makhzoom with the worst of her deeds,
Its grown men and its children will have nothing but baseness,
Neither her elders nor her children would accept anything but evil,
وَدِقَّةِand pettiness أَخلاقٍof character وَرَأيٍand judgment مُضَلَّلٍmisguided
وَدِقَّةِ أَخلاقٍ وَرَأيٍ مُضَلَّلٍ
وَغَدرٍand treachery وَلاand not يوفيis worth بِزَندٍa firestick عَقيدُهاits sworn ally
وَغَدرٍ وَلا يوفي بِزَندٍ عَقيدُها
And pettiness of character and misguided judgment,
With her misguided sense of morality and poor judgement,
And treachery; its sworn ally is not worth a firestick.
And treachery - her faith does not honor any promise.
