If the house of Arwa's son stands empty at evening,

A tusk fallen, and a gate burned and ruined,

Yet a seeker of good may find what he needs

Within it, and renown and ancestral honor take refuge there.

O people, reveal what lies within your souls.

Truth and falsehood are not equal before God.

Unless you turn back to God's command, you will encounter

Battalions in bands, with further bands behind them.

Among them is Habib, war's blazing flame, leading them,

Clad in armor, with anger showing on his face.
