Can the trace of a dwelling, its site faded and desolate,
Is the depiction of the dweller of the abode answering questions
speak an answer to one who asks?

And the blowing of every gentle breeze

Bringing joy to Muhammad and his companions
وَأَقَرَّand gladdened عَينَthe eye of مُحَمَّدٍMuhammad وَصِحابِهِand his companions

وَأَذَلَّ كُلَّ مُكَذِّبٍ مُرتابِ
And it gladdened the eyes of Muhammad and his companions,
And disgracing every doubting denier
and humbled every doubting denier,
Cloaked in unbelief beneath his clothes

Though unbelief is not pure raiment
and unbelief is not clad in clean garments.

Wretchedness clung to his heart and shrouded it
In unbelief the end of eras
in unbelief until the end of these ages.
