Aslam of Afṣā, save the house of ʿUwaymir—
I surrender as the most eloquent except the family of Oweimer
a remnant of a bygone age, their penises slender.
The rest of the lions with sharp claws their caves

Too feeble for the deeds of the noble, yet swift
Excellent deeds its doer rushes
to baseness—vile men whose seas are shallow pools.
To meanness the ignoble glutinous their seas

Meager are their endeavors; their dogs persist,
Short its endeavors its dogs keep barking
whenever a guest arrives, in a whining growl.
If a guest comes seeking refuge the howling of them
