بِقَبولِ صَومِكَ قَد تَبَسَّمَ عيدُهُ

بِقَبولِ صَومِكَ قَد تَبَسَّمَ عيدُهُ

وَبَدا الصَفاءَ قَريبُهُ وَبَعيدُهُ

وَبَدا الصَفاءَ قَريبُهُ وَبَعيدُهُ

With your fast accepted, its Eid has smiled.

With the acceptance of your fast, its holiday smiled

And serenity has appeared, both near and far.

And clarity appeared, its near and far

وَكِلاهُما بِالأُنسِ وَالحُسنى مَضى

وَكِلاهُما بِالأُنسِ وَالحُسنى مَضى

وَلَكَ المُهَيمِنُ بِالسُعودِ يُعيدُهُ

وَلَكَ المُهَيمِنُ بِالسُعودِ يُعيدُهُ

And both have passed in gladness and goodness.

And both passed with intimacy and goodness

And may the Guardian bring it back to you with good fortune.

And for you the All-Dominant one renews it with good fortune

فَاِهنَأ بِمَرجُوِّ الثَوابِ عَلى الصِيا

فَاِهنَأ بِمَرجُوِّ الثَوابِ عَلى الصِيا

مِ وَخَيرُ فِعلٍ ما فِتَئَت تَزيدُهُ

مِ وَخَيرُ فِعلٍ ما فِتَئَت تَزيدُهُ

So rejoice in the hoped-for reward for fasting,

So congratulate yourself on the hoped reward for fasting

And the good deeds you never cease to increase.

And the best deed is what you do not cease to increase

وَاِشكُر وَسِر بِنِعمَةِ فَوقِ المَرا

وَاِشكُر وَسِر بِنِعمَةِ فَوقِ المَرا

مِ وَصَفوُ فَطِر لَن يَزولَ رَغيدُهُ

مِ وَصَفوُ فَطِر لَن يَزولَ رَغيدُهُ

And give thanks, and proceed with a blessing beyond desire,

And thank and be delighted by the blessing above wishes

And the serenity of breaking the fast, whose ease will never fade.

And the wholesomeness of breakfast will not cease to satisfy him

وَاِستَقبِلِ الإِقبالَ فَهوَ كَما تَرى

وَاِستَقبِلِ الإِقبالَ فَهوَ كَما تَرى

آتٍ يُقَرِّرُ ما تَشا وَتُريدُهُ

آتٍ يُقَرِّرُ ما تَشا وَتُريدُهُ

And welcome good fortune, for it is, as you see,

And anticipate favor, for it is, as you see

Coming to secure what you wish and desire.

Coming to confirm what you want and desire

وَالحَظُّ آلى لَيسَ يَبرَحُ بِالمُنى

وَالحَظُّ آلى لَيسَ يَبرَحُ بِالمُنى

يَسعى إِلَيكَ مَدى الزَمانِ وُفودُهُ

يَسعى إِلَيكَ مَدى الزَمانِ وُفودُهُ

And fortune has sworn never to cease bringing wishes;

And luck has resolved not to leave with wishes

Its envoys hasten to you throughout time.

Striving towards you throughout time are its delegations

وَاِمنَح مِنَ الكَرَمِ العَميمِ قَواصِداً

وَاِمنَح مِنَ الكَرَمِ العَميمِ قَواصِداً

كُلٌّ بِمَدحٍ عَلاكَ راقِ قَصيدُهُ

كُلٌّ بِمَدحٍ عَلاكَ راقِ قَصيدُهُ

And give from your all-embracing generosity to those who seek you,

And grant with abundant generosity those with intentions

Each one's poem exquisite in praise of your eminence,

Each with praise exalting you, delicate is its poem

مُتَزاحِمينَ أَقارِباً وَأَجانِباً

مُتَزاحِمينَ أَقارِباً وَأَجانِباً

لِلمَنهَلِ العَذبِ الكَثيرِ ُررودُهُ

لِلمَنهَلِ العَذبِ الكَثيرِ ُررودُهُ

Crowding together, relatives and strangers,

Crowding relatives and strangers

To the sweet watering place whose visitors are many.

To the abundant fresh spring are its runnels

وَاِدخُل بِعافِيَةٍ وَأَكمِل صُحبَةً

وَاِدخُل بِعافِيَةٍ وَأَكمِل صُحبَةً

وَنَضيرُ مَجدٍ لَيسَ يَيبَسُ عودُهُ

وَنَضيرُ مَجدٍ لَيسَ يَيبَسُ عودُهُ

And enter in good health, and perfect companionship,

And enter well and complete companionship

And flourishing glory whose bough never withers,

And the equal of glory which its freshness does not dry out

مُتَكَلِّلاً تاجَ العُلا مُتَجَلِّباً

مُتَكَلِّلاً تاجَ العُلا مُتَجَلِّباً

في مَلبَسِ الإِسعادِ دامَ جَديدُهُ

في مَلبَسِ الإِسعادِ دامَ جَديدُهُ

Crowned with the crown of eminence, robed

Crowned with the crown of sublimity, wearing

In the attire of happiness—may its freshness endure.

The clothes of felicity, may its newness last

وَاِنهَض إِلى أَوجِ المَعالي دائِماً

وَاِنهَض إِلى أَوجِ المَعالي دائِماً

فَلَأَنتَ صاحِبُ بَيتِها وَعَميدُهُ

فَلَأَنتَ صاحِبُ بَيتِها وَعَميدُهُ

And always rise to the summit of high honors,

And rise to the highest glories always

For you are indeed the master of their house and its chief.

For you are the owner of its house and pillar

وَاِمتِع بِعُمرٍ قَد تَشيدُ حِصنُهُ

وَاِمتِع بِعُمرٍ قَد تَشيدُ حِصنُهُ

في العِزِّ وَالفَوزِ العَظيمِ مَديدُهُ

في العِزِّ وَالفَوزِ العَظيمِ مَديدُهُ

And enjoy a life whose fortress has been raised,

And enjoy a life whose fortress you build

Its long span in honor and mighty triumph.

In great triumph and victory, long is its extent

وَاِسمَح بِتَشريفِ الدَقهَلِيَّةِ الَّتي

وَاِسمَح بِتَشريفِ الدَقهَلِيَّةِ الَّتي

بِكَ أَصبَحَت رَوضاً تَضوعُ وُرودُهُ

بِكَ أَصبَحَت رَوضاً تَضوعُ وُرودُهُ

And graciously honor Daqahliyya, which

And allow the honoring of Dhakhlia which

Through you has become a garden whose roses waft fragrance.

With you has become a meadow, blooming are its flowers

فَبِيُمنِ عيدِكَ قَد زَهَت وَلِمِثلِهِ

فَبِيُمنِ عيدِكَ قَد زَهَت وَلِمِثلِهِ

أَمالَها عودٌ يَطيبُ حَميدُهُ

أَمالَها عودٌ يَطيبُ حَميدُهُ

So with the blessing of your Eid it has blossomed, and for another like it,

So with the blessing of your holiday it has bloomed and for the like of it

Its hopes are for a return whose goodness is sweet.

Are her hopes, a freshness pleasing is its essence

وَاِزدَد لِإِصلاحِ الشُؤنِ تَفَنُّناً

وَاِزدَد لِإِصلاحِ الشُؤنِ تَفَنُّناً

حُسنَ اِختِراعِكَ لِلنِظامِ يُفيدُهُ

حُسنَ اِختِراعِكَ لِلنِظامِ يُفيدُهُ

And grow more inventive in setting affairs right;

And increase in reforming affairs more and more

Your fine inventiveness for the system benefits it.

Excellent is your invention of the system, it benefits it

وَعَظيمُ رَأيِكَ بَثُّهُ فَبِناؤُهُ

وَعَظيمُ رَأيِكَ بَثُّهُ فَبِناؤُهُ

مِن ثاقِبِ الفِكرِ اِعتَلى تَشييدُهُ

مِن ثاقِبِ الفِكرِ اِعتَلى تَشييدُهُ

And your great counsel is spread abroad; thus its edifice

And your great opinion, its diffusion

Has risen high, built from penetrating thought.

Is built from penetrating thought, lofty is its construction

وَاِعطِف عَلى عَدلٍ بِفَضلٍ لَم يَزَلِ

وَاِعطِف عَلى عَدلٍ بِفَضلٍ لَم يَزَلِ

مِن بَحرِ حِلمِكَ قاصِدوكَ تَصيدُهُ

مِن بَحرِ حِلمِكَ قاصِدوكَ تَصيدُهُ

And add to justice a bounty, ever

And incline with preferential kindness that has not ceased

Fished by those who seek you from the sea of your forbearance.

From the sea of your wisdom, those seeking you pull in its catch

وَاِجعَل إِلى الآجادِ نُصحاً مُفرَداً

وَاِجعَل إِلى الآجادِ نُصحاً مُفرَداً

يَبدو بِأَوصافِ الكَمالِ عَديدُهُ

يَبدو بِأَوصافِ الكَمالِ عَديدُهُ

And offer unique counsel to individuals,

And make sincere advice to the benevolent a sole focus

Its manifold forms displaying the qualities of perfection.

Its qualities of perfection appear numerous

وَاِنثُر مَزاياكَ الحِسانُ لَآلِئاً

وَاِنثُر مَزاياكَ الحِسانُ لَآلِئاً

مِن جَوهَرٍ يَسبي العُقولَ زَهيدُهُ

مِن جَوهَرٍ يَسبي العُقولَ زَهيدُهُ

And scatter your beautiful virtues as pearls,

And strew your commendable traits like pearls

From jewels whose humblest portion captivates minds,

From a essence that impresses minds, paltry is its value

في جيدِ أَهلِ العَصرِ غَيرُ مُزاحِمٍ

في جيدِ أَهلِ العَصرِ غَيرُ مُزاحِمٍ

لَكَ شُكرُها نَظمٌ تَجودُ عُقودُهُ

لَكَ شُكرُها نَظمٌ تَجودُ عُقودُهُ

Upon the necks of the people of this age, with no rival;

In the neck of the era's people without coveting

Thanks to you for them form verse whose necklaces are exquisite.

To you is their gratitude, poetry overflowing are its strings

وَاِنظُر لِأَهلِ الاِستِقامَةِ دائِماً

وَاِنظُر لِأَهلِ الاِستِقامَةِ دائِماً

فَلِمَن نَظَرتَ لَهُ تَتِمُّ سُعودُهُ

فَلِمَن نَظَرتَ لَهُ تَتِمُّ سُعودُهُ

And always look kindly upon the upright,

And look always to the people of righteousness

For whoever receives your regard has his good fortune made complete.

For whom you looked to, his happiness is complete

وَاِستَجلِبَن قُلوبَهُم مُتَكَرِّماً

وَاِستَجلِبَن قُلوبَهُم مُتَكَرِّماً

بِتَعَطُّفٍ يَبدو لَهُ تَأييدُهُ

بِتَعَطُّفٍ يَبدو لَهُ تَأييدُهُ

And surely win their hearts, acting generously,

And attract their hearts generously

With kindness whose support is evident to him.

With kindness for which its support appears

فَالصِدقُ وَالإِخلاصُ فيكَ كِلاهُما

فَالصِدقُ وَالإِخلاصُ فيكَ كِلاهُما

بادَ بِفِعلِكَ لا تَغيبَ شُهودُهُ

بادَ بِفِعلِكَ لا تَغيبَ شُهودُهُ

For truthfulness and sincerity are both in you,

For truthfulness and sincerity are both evident in you

Manifest through your action, whose witnesses never vanish.

Through your action, not absent are their witnesses

وَلَأَنتَ أَدرى إِن كُلَّ مُوَفَّقٍ

وَلَأَنتَ أَدرى إِن كُلَّ مُوَفَّقٍ

لِمَرامِهِ أَمَلٌ يَحِقٌّ وَطيدُهُ

لِمَرامِهِ أَمَلٌ يَحِقٌّ وَطيدُهُ

And you surely know best that everyone granted success

And you know best that every enabled one

Has hope for his goal, firm-founded and fulfilled.

For his purpose has a true and firm hope

لا زالَ مِنكَ الجاهَ وَالهِمَمِ العُلى

لا زالَ مِنكَ الجاهَ وَالهِمَمِ العُلى

لِذَوي الحُقوقِ وَمَن وَفَتكَ عُهودُهُ

لِذَوي الحُقوقِ وَمَن وَفَتكَ عُهودُهُ

May your influence and lofty aspirations never cease

Help from you and lofty resolve has not ceased

For those with rights, and those whose pledges to you have held true.

For the deserving and those whose pledges you fulfilled

فَتَدومُ مَشكورَ المَواهِبِ مُصطَفى

فَتَدومُ مَشكورَ المَواهِبِ مُصطَفى

وَلَكَ الثَناءُ طَريقُهُ وَتَليدُهُ

وَلَكَ الثَناءُ طَريقُهُ وَتَليدُهُ

So may you endure, Mustafa, thanked for your gifts,

So gratitude continues for the Chosen One

And yours is praise, its course and its inherited legacy.

And for you is praise, smooth is its path and habit

وَالعيدُ يَنشُدُ في الهَنا تاريخُهُ

وَالعيدُ يَنشُدُ في الهَنا تاريخُهُ

خَيراً بِعَليا لِلمُديرِ نَزيدُهُ

خَيراً بِعَليا لِلمُديرِ نَزيدُهُ

And Eid chants its date in joy:

And the holiday sings in delight, its date

Good fortune in lofty rank—we increase it for the director.

Good tidings to the director, we increase it

وَالكاسِبونَ مِنَ المَكارِمِ أرخو

وَالكاسِبونَ مِنَ المَكارِمِ أرخو

بِالمُصطَفى وَهيَ لِفَضلِ عيدُهُ

بِالمُصطَفى وَهيَ لِفَضلِ عيدُهُ

And those who gain from noble favors recorded the date:

And those gaining from virtues have chronicled

Through Mustafa—and it is for the bounty of his Eid.

With the Chosen One - and it is due to the grace of his holiday
