صورَةُ العَبّاسِ مَولانا المُفَدّى
قَدindeed حَباهاbestowed it عَبدُهُhis servant أَحمَدAhmad خَيريKhayri
قَد حَباها عَبدُهُ أَحمَد خَيري
The portrait of al-Abbas, our lord for whom we would give our lives,
The image of our Master, Abbas the Redeemer
His servant Ahmad Khayri has indeed bestowed it.
His servant Ahmad Khayri has gifted it
لاdo not تَلوموهُblame him عَلىfor الحِرصِthe keen concern عَلَيهاfor it
لا تَلوموهُ عَلى الحِرصِ عَلَيها
حَيثُsince كانَتit was عِندَهُto him أَحمَدmost praiseworthy خَيرِblessing
حَيثُ كانَت عِندَهُ أَحمَد خَيرِ
Do not blame him for his keen concern for it,
Blame him not for cherishing it
Since, to him, it was the most praiseworthy blessing.
When for him Ahmad is the best of all
