يا آلَ قَليوبَ بِخَيرٍ أَبشَروا

يا آلَ قَليوبَ بِخَيرٍ أَبشَروا

فَسَتَأمَنونَ السوءَ فَوقَ المُرتَجا

O people of Qalyub, rejoice in good fortune!

O people of Qalyub with good tidings rejoice

For you will be safe from harm beyond what you hoped for.

You will be safe from harm atop fortune's ridge

وَتَرونَ أَحسَنَ ما يَكونُ تَجامُلاً

وَتَرونَ أَحسَنَ ما يَكونُ تَجامُلاً

وَيَنالُ كُلٌّ مِنكُم ما قَد رَجا

وَيَنالُ كُلٌّ مِنكُم ما قَد رَجا

And you will see courtesy at its very finest.

And you will see, in fair accord, the finest sights

And each of you will attain what they have hoped for.

With all attaining what each had hoped to bridge

فَمُديرُكُم جَمَعَ المَحاسِنِ كُلَّها

فَمُديرُكُم جَمَعَ المَحاسِنِ كُلَّها

كَالبَدرِ يَمحو نورُهُ ظُلمَ الدُجا

كَالبَدرِ يَمحو نورُهُ ظُلمَ الدُجا

For your administrator combines every virtue,

For your governor has gathered every virtue

Like the full moon, whose light dispels the darkness of night.

Like the full moon dispelling darkness from its edge

وَإِلَيكُم ما جاءَ في تاريخِهِ
