رَسولَ الهُدى ضاقَت بِيَ الحالُ في الوَرى

رَسولَ الهُدى ضاقَت بِيَ الحالُ في الوَرى

وَأَنتَ بِما أَمَّلتَ مِنكَ جَديرِ

وَأَنتَ بِما أَمَّلتَ مِنكَ جَديرِ

O Messenger of guidance, my circumstances have grown straitened among humankind.

O messenger of guidance, my state has narrowed in the land

And you are worthy of what you have hoped for from yourself.

And you are worthy of what I hoped from you

فَسَل خالِقي تَفريجَ كَربي فَإِنَّهُ

فَسَل خالِقي تَفريجَ كَربي فَإِنَّهُ

بِجاهِكَ يا روحَ الوُجودِ يَجيرِ

بِجاهِكَ يا روحَ الوُجودِ يَجيرِ

So ask my Creator to relieve my anguish, for indeed He

So ask my Creator to relieve my hardship, for He

grants refuge through your standing, O soul of existence.

By your stature, O spirit of existence, will protect

وَلَيسَ سِواهُ جَلَّ شَأنُ جَلالِهِ

وَلَيسَ سِواهُ جَلَّ شَأنُ جَلالِهِ

عَلى فَرَجي دونَ الأَنامِ قَديرِ

عَلى فَرَجي دونَ الأَنامِ قَديرِ

And none but Him—exalted is the eminence of His majesty—

And none but He, exalted be His majesty

has power to grant me relief, to the exclusion of humankind.

Over my relief without people, is Capable
