رَعى اللَهُ أَعضاءَ النِيابَةِ أَنَّهُم

رَعى اللَهُ أَعضاءَ النِيابَةِ أَنَّهُم

لَفي الغايَةِ القُصوى بِسَيرٍ وَسيرَةِ

لَفي الغايَةِ القُصوى بِسَيرٍ وَسيرَةِ

May God protect the members of the prosecution, for they

May God protect the members of parliament, for they

Are surely at the highest level in conduct and character.

Are the epitome of the highest moral conduct

رَئيسٌ وَمُرؤِسونَ حازوا مَفاخِراً

رَئيسٌ وَمُرؤِسونَ حازوا مَفاخِراً

بِعِلمٍ وَآدابٍ وَحِكَمٍ وَحِكمَةِ

بِعِلمٍ وَآدابٍ وَحِكَمٍ وَحِكمَةِ

A chief and subordinates who have won honors

The president and subordinates have achieved glories

Through learning, refinement, wise sayings, and wisdom.

Through knowledge, etiquette, wisdom and prudence

أَضاءَت بِعَلياهِم مَحاكِمُ مِصرِنا

أَضاءَت بِعَلياهِم مَحاكِمُ مِصرِنا

وَتاهَت بِهِم مِصرَ عَلى كُلِّ خُطَّةِ

وَتاهَت بِهِم مِصرَ عَلى كُلِّ خُطَّةِ

The courts of our Egypt have shone through their eminence,

Their supreme court has illuminated our Egypt

And Egypt has gloried in them in every endeavor.

And with them Egypt has excelled in every plan

مَتى قامَ فينا أَيُّهُم بِخَطابَةٍ

مَتى قامَ فينا أَيُّهُم بِخَطابَةٍ

لَدَفَعَ خِصامٌ أَو لِشَرحِ حَقيقَةِ

لَدَفَعَ خِصامٌ أَو لِشَرحِ حَقيقَةِ

Whenever any of them rose among us to speak,

Whenever one of them makes a speech

To settle a dispute or explain a truth,

To resolve a conflict or explain the truth

سَمِعتُ مَقالاتٍ بِأَحسَنِ مَنطِقٍ

سَمِعتُ مَقالاتٍ بِأَحسَنِ مَنطِقٍ

وَشِمتُ دَلالاتٍ بِأَقوَمِ حَجَّةِ

وَشِمتُ دَلالاتٍ بِأَقوَمِ حَجَّةِ

I heard speeches in the finest language,

I have heard speeches with the best logic

And discerned evidence through the soundest argument.

And sensed indications with the soundest argument

فَما بَينَ أُستاذٍ شَفيقٍ مُحافِظٍ

فَما بَينَ أُستاذٍ شَفيقٍ مُحافِظٍ

عَلى شَرَفٍ أَو تيهٍ مِن كُلِّ وُجهَةِ

عَلى شَرَفٍ أَو تيهٍ مِن كُلِّ وُجهَةِ

They range from the kindly master Shafiq, safeguarding

So between a caring, conservative professor

Honor or pride from every quarter,

Safeguarding dignity or lost in every perspective

مَراعِ شُؤونِ العَدلِ لَيسَ يَفوتُهُ

مَراعِ شُؤونِ العَدلِ لَيسَ يَفوتُهُ

مَعَ الحَقِّ جَبرانٌ لِكُلِّ ظَلامَةِ

مَعَ الحَقِّ جَبرانٌ لِكُلِّ ظَلامَةِ

Attending to the affairs of justice, never overlooking

One who heeds the affairs of justice, nothing escapes him

Redress for every wrong, alongside the truth,

With truth, reparation for every darkness

وَما بَينَ ذي قَدرٍ عَزيزٍ وَعاصِمٍ

وَما بَينَ ذي قَدرٍ عَزيزٍ وَعاصِمٍ

لَهُ عِصمَةٌ عُظمى بِأَحمَدَ حِشمَةِ

لَهُ عِصمَةٌ عُظمى بِأَحمَدَ حِشمَةِ

To Aziz, a man of standing, and Asim, a protector,

And between one of great, mighty esteem

Whose supreme protection lies with Ahmad Hishma,

With supreme protection in the most honorable modesty

وَمَن لِمَزاياهُ تَرى الكُلَّ حامِداً

وَمَن لِمَزاياهُ تَرى الكُلَّ حامِداً

وَمَن قالَ مَجدي مُستَفادٌ بِخِبرَتي

وَمَن قالَ مَجدي مُستَفادٌ بِخِبرَتي

And one whom you see everyone praising for his virtues,

And one whom you see all praising his virtues

And one who said, 'My glory is gained through my experience.'

And one who says "my glory is gained through my experience"

فَحَقَّ لَهُم بِالعِلمِ فَخرٌ وَسودد

فَحَقَّ لَهُم بِالعِلمِ فَخرٌ وَسودد

وَسَوفَ تَراهُم في كَمالِ سَعادَةِ

وَسَوفَ تَراهُم في كَمالِ سَعادَةِ

Thus, through learning, pride and eminence are their due,

They rightly deserve pride and joy through knowledge

And you will see them in perfect happiness.

And you will see them at the height of happiness
