إِنَّindeed الكَريمَthe noble man وَأَنتَand you أَعلَمُknow best أَنif (apparently intended) يُعَدَّhe promises (apparently intended)

وَعداً عَلَيهِ نِجازُهُ لَن يَخلَفا
Indeed, a noble man—and you know best—if he makes
The generous one, as you know best, when he makes a promise,
A promise he is bound to fulfil, will never break it.
Its fulfillment will never fail.
وَأَراكَand I see you وَأَراكَand I see you التَشاغُلُpreoccupation فَاِحتَجَبso withdrew

تَ عَنِ المُحِبِّ وَعَهدَهُ مِنكَ الوَفا
And I see you—I see you preoccupied—so you withdrew
Yet I see you busy and preoccupied,
From the lover, who had known faithfulness from you.
Hiding from a lover and his covenant of faithfulness to you.
وَأَخجَلَتيand oh, my shame لَمّاwhen سَئَلتَyou asked وَلَمand did not أَحرَI give a reply

And oh, my shame when you asked, and I gave no
I'm embarrassed when I ask and cannot get an answer about you,
Answer about you, though coldness had been seen in you.
And I see in you only indifference.
وَاللَهِby God ماnot حَضَرتَyou came مُبادِراًhastening

By God, you did not come hastening.
By God! You did not take the initiative,
What is this? Otherwise, I do not deem you fair.
Otherwise I would not consider you fair.
