أَصبَحتُ يا صاحِ في اِعتِلالِ

أَصبَحتُ يا صاحِ في اِعتِلالِ

وَدَورَةَ الماءِ في فَسادِ

وَدَورَةَ الماءِ في فَسادِ

I have become unwell, O friend,

I've become, my friend, infirm

And the circulation of water is impaired.

And the circulation of water corrupt

وَمُنتَهى الكَرَبِ إِنَّ رِزقي

وَمُنتَهى الكَرَبِ إِنَّ رِزقي

يَقِلُّ وَالبَولُ في اِزدِيادِ

يَقِلُّ وَالبَولُ في اِزدِيادِ

And the height of distress is that my income

And the apex of distress—my sustenance

dwindles, while urine is on the increase.

Dwindles as my urine increases
