لَهُhe has فِطنَةٌdiscernment فَوقَabove العُقولِminds مَكانَةًin rank
لَهُ فِطنَةٌ فَوقَ العُقولِ مَكانَةً
وَفَكِّرand reflect تَراهُyou see him بِالصَوابِby what is right مُسَدَّداrightly guided
وَفَكِّر تَراهُ بِالصَوابِ مُسَدَّدا
He has discernment that ranks above other minds.
He has a wisdom beyond minds in rank
And reflect: you will see him guided to what is right.
And think, you will find him rightly guided in truth
فَماfor never خابَhe failed فيin رَأيٍa judgment وَلاnor ضَلَّhe strayed فيin نُهىreason
فَما خابَ في رَأيٍ وَلا ضَلَّ في نُهى
كَأَنَّas though لَهُhe has فيin عالَمِthe realm الغَيبِthe unseen مَشهَداa vantage point
كَأَنَّ لَهُ في عالَمِ الغَيبِ مَشهَدا
For he has never failed in judgment, nor strayed in reason,
He was never mistaken in an opinion or lost in advice
As though he had a vantage point in the realm of the unseen.
As if he has a vision into the unseen world
