يا حُسنَ إِقبالٍ أَسما

بِخَيرِ زَوجٍ تَبارَكَ

بِخَيرِ زَوجٍ تَبارَكَ

O beauty of fortune most sublime,

blessed with the finest spouse.

وَحُسنَ حَظٍّ قَرَنَ

وَحُسنَ حَظٍّ قَرَنَ

في لُطفِهِ لا يُشارِكَ

في لُطفِهِ لا يُشارِكَ

And lovely luck that joined the two,

in its gentleness, it shares with no one.

يا طالِعَ السَدِ باشِر

يا طالِعَ السَدِ باشِر

لِاِثنَينِ وَاِنقُض عِبارَكَ

لِاِثنَينِ وَاِنقُض عِبارَكَ

O climber of the dam, begin

for two, and undo your wording.

وَقابِلِ العامَ أَرخِ

وَقابِلِ العامَ أَرخِ

هَذا قِرانَ مُبارَكَ

هَذا قِرانَ مُبارَكَ

And greet the year; record its date:

this is a blessed union.
