أَشرَقَت بِالبِشرِ أَنوارُ التَهاني

أَشرَقَت بِالبِشرِ أَنوارُ التَهاني

يا بَشيرُ قُم هَنّي الأَنامِ

يا بَشيرُ قُم هَنّي الأَنامِ

The lights of congratulations shone with cheer.

The lights of congratulations have dawned with good news,

O herald, rise and congratulate humankind.

O you who bring good news, make the people happy,

إِنَّ ذا الأَنعامِ أَولانا الأَماني

إِنَّ ذا الأَنعامِ أَولانا الأَماني

وَتَوالى حَظُّنا فَوقَ المَرامِ

وَتَوالى حَظُّنا فَوقَ المَرامِ

Indeed, the giver of bounties has granted us our wishes.

Indeed the bestower of favors has fulfilled our hopes,

And our good fortune kept coming, beyond our hopes.

And our fortune has gone beyond aspirations.

يا وَلِيَّ العَهدِ شَرَّفتَ المَنازِلِ

يا وَلِيَّ العَهدِ شَرَّفتَ المَنازِلِ

وَالصَفا وافى وَوَفّى بِالعُهودِ

وَالصَفا وافى وَوَفّى بِالعُهودِ

O crown prince, you have honored the dwellings.

O heir apparent, you have ennobled the abodes,

And serenity arrived and kept faith with the pledges.

Sincerity has come and fulfilled the covenants,

يا شَقيقَ البَدرِ نَوَّرتَ المَحافِلِ

يا شَقيقَ البَدرِ نَوَّرتَ المَحافِلِ

في مَقامٍ دونَهُ سَعدُ السُعودِ

في مَقامٍ دونَهُ سَعدُ السُعودِ

O brother of the full moon, you illuminated the gatherings,

O brother of the full moon, you have illuminated the gatherings,

At a station beneath which lies Saʿd al-Suʿūd.

In a status below which is the happiness of good fortune.

طُف بِكاسِ الراحِ يا ساقي الرَحيقِ

طُف بِكاسِ الراحِ يا ساقي الرَحيقِ

وَأَجلِها لِنَرى شَمسَ الضُحى

وَأَجلِها لِنَرى شَمسَ الضُحى

Go round with the cup of wine, O cupbearer of nectar.

Pass around the cup of wine, O pourer of pure drink,

And unveil it, so we may see the midmorning sun,

And delay it so we may see the sun of morning,

حَيثُما العَبّاسُ وافى وَالشَقيقُ

حَيثُما العَبّاسُ وافى وَالشَقيقُ

وَالهَنا وَجهٌ لِوَجهٍ وَضَحا

وَالهَنا وَجهٌ لِوَجهٍ وَضَحا

Wherever al-Abbas and his brother have come,

Wherever Al-Abbas and Al-Shaqeeq are present,

And joy shone forth, face to face.

And our beloved's face is radiant and smiling.

فَرِحُ الثَغرِ بِتَشريفِ المَقامِ

فَرِحُ الثَغرِ بِتَشريفِ المَقامِ

بِبُدورِ نورِهِم فيهِ أَرتَسِمُ

بِبُدورِ نورِهِم فيهِ أَرتَسِمُ

The port rejoiced at the honor of the visit

My mouth rejoices in the honoring of the abode,

By full moons whose light was imprinted within it.

With the shining of their lights it is adorned.

فَتَراهُ في اِزدِهاءٍ وَاِبتِسامِ

فَتَراهُ في اِزدِهاءٍ وَاِبتِسامِ

وَلَعَمري أَيُّ ثَغرٍ ما اِبتَسَمُ

وَلَعَمري أَيُّ ثَغرٍ ما اِبتَسَمُ

So you see it resplendent and smiling.

So you see it frowning and smiling,

And by my life, what mouth has not smiled?

By my life, which mouth has not smiled?

صاحِبُ العَهدِ بِتَوفيقِ العَزيزِ

صاحِبُ العَهدِ بِتَوفيقِ العَزيزِ

ضَمِّنِ اليُمنَ لَهُ دَومَ السُرورِ

ضَمِّنِ اليُمنَ لَهُ دَومَ السُرورِ

The heir to the throne, through the Almighty's favor,

The heir apparent, by the support of the Almighty,

Has been assured lasting joy by good fortune.

Include good fortune for him eternally,

فَهوَ في مَجدِ بِهِ عالٍ عَزيزُ

فَهوَ في مَجدِ بِهِ عالٍ عَزيزُ

رافِلاً في ظِلِّ مَولانا الأَميرِ

رافِلاً في ظِلِّ مَولانا الأَميرِ

For he is in glory, exalted and mighty through it,

For he is gloriously mighty through his glory,

Striding proudly in the shade of our lord, the emir.

Strolling in the shade of our Prince.

يا بَني التَوفيقِ يا عِزُّ الجَميعِ

يا بَني التَوفيقِ يا عِزُّ الجَميعِ

يا فُروعُ المَجدِ مِن أَصلٍ عَلى

يا فُروعُ المَجدِ مِن أَصلٍ عَلى

O sons of Tawfiq, O pride of all,

O children of success, O pride of all,

O branches of glory, from a root that rose high,

O branches of glory from a noble origin,

أَبشَروا فَالسَعدُ خَدّامٌ مُطيعُ

أَبشَروا فَالسَعدُ خَدّامٌ مُطيعُ

لِلَّذي أَولاكُمُ القَدرَ السَني

لِلَّذي أَولاكُمُ القَدرَ السَني

Rejoice, for good fortune is an obedient servant

Receive good news, for good fortune are obedient servants,

To him who bestowed exalted rank upon you.

To the one who granted you an auspicious fate.
