يَقولونَ أَحمَدتُم ثَناءَ مُديرُكُم

يَقولونَ أَحمَدتُم ثَناءَ مُديرُكُم

فَهَل هُوَ في كُلِّ الخَلائِقِ يَحمَدُ

فَهَل هُوَ في كُلِّ الخَلائِقِ يَحمَدُ

They say, “You have spoken in praise of your director;

They say you praised your manager

so is he praiseworthy in all his character traits?”

Does he deserve praise from all mankind?

فَقُلتُ لَهُم وَاللَهِ اِحلَف صادِقاً

فَقُلتُ لَهُم وَاللَهِ اِحلَف صادِقاً

عَلى أَنَّهُ بِالاِسمِ وَالفِعلِ أَحمَدُ

عَلى أَنَّهُ بِالاِسمِ وَالفِعلِ أَحمَدُ

I said to them, “By God, I swear truthfully

I swore to them, truthfully by God-

that he is Ahmad—most praiseworthy—in name and deed.”

In name and deed he is "Most Praiseworthy"
