حَقَّقَتُI confirmed فِكرَةَthe idea مَنone who يَرجوكَhopes in you مِنsince قَدَمٍlong ago
حَقَّقَتُ فِكرَةَ مَن يَرجوكَ مِن قَدَمٍ
فَكانَso it was فَضلُكَyour bounty مِنfrom رَأسيmy head إِلىto قَدَميmy foot
فَكانَ فَضلُكَ مِن رَأسي إِلى قَدَمي
I confirmed the belief of one who has long placed his hopes in you.
The idea of who hopes in you from head to toe
So your bounty covered me from head to foot.
So your virtue was from my head to my feet
هَذيthese مَحاسِنُfine qualities أَخلاقٍcharacter خَصَّصتَyou singled out بِهاwith them
هَذي مَحاسِنُ أَخلاقٍ خَصَّصتَ بِها
فَصِرتُso I became بَينَamong ذَويthose possessing الأَفضالِmerits كَالعِلمِlike knowledge
فَصِرتُ بَينَ ذَوي الأَفضالِ كَالعِلمِ
These are fine qualities of character with which you singled me out,
These are the beautiful morals you specialized me with
so I became like knowledge among people of merit.
So I became among the virtuous like a flag
لاmay not زِلتَyou cease to be كَعبَةًa Kaaba قَصادَseekers يُطافُis circumambulated بِهاaround it
لا زِلتَ كَعبَةً قَصادَ يُطافُ بِها
قَصدَwith the aim of التِماسِseeking المُنىwishes مِنfrom صَفوَةِthe purest essence الكَرَمِgenerosity
قَصدَ التِماسِ المُنى مِن صَفوَةِ الكَرَمِ
May you remain a Kaaba for seekers, around which they circle,
You still remain a glorious destination, circled around
seeking the fulfillment of wishes from the very essence of generosity.
Seeking bountiful wishes from the elite of generosity
