الصبرُ أجمل والدنيا مفجِّعةٌ
منwho ذاthat one الذيwho لمdid not يجرعswallow مرةًonce حزناsorrow
من ذا الذي لم يجرع مرةً حزنا
Patience is more becoming, and the world brings grief.
Patience is most beautiful, though life brings much grief
Who is there who has not once swallowed sorrow?
Who is there that has not once swallowed sorrow?
