Umm Muhammad has indeed urged stinginess;
so I told her: Urge Ahmad to be stingy.
فإِنيfor indeed I am امرؤٌa man عَودتُI accustomed نَفسِيَmyself عادةًa habit

For I am a man who has accustomed himself to a certain way,
and every man follows what he has grown used to.

do you hope for my lapses, my excuse-making, and my turning away?
Away from me—you are divorced! Depart tomorrow.
