نسبٌa lineage أنافَrose high علىabove الأنامmankind بهِthrough it
نسبٌ أنافَ على الأنام بهِ
شرفاًin honor فطالَand so he grew tall بهthrough it علىdespite قِصرهits brevity
شرفاً فطالَ به على قِصره
A lineage through which he rose above mankind
He attributed high nobility to people through it
In honor, and through it grew tall despite its brevity.
Honorably, he extended it over his palace
هوit عقدُa necklace of فضلٍvirtue لمdid not يزلcease أبداًever
هو عقدُ فضلٍ لم يزل أبداً
تتزيّنadorns itself العلياءlofty glory فيin دررهits pearls
تتزيّن العلياء في درره
It is a necklace of virtue; forever, without cease,
It is a pearl of virtue that never ceased
Lofty glory adorns itself with its pearls.
The eminent adorn themselves with its jewels
