In al-Badawi's courtyard, a court has alighted;
In Badawi's square a splendid square descended
The country's glory is bound to its glory.
The glory of the country is linked to its glory

And al-Husayn came to visit the pole of his time
Gabriel watches over and guards his cavalcade.
Gabriel grazes and guards his caravan

Our festivals in Tanta have gained another festival,
Our seasons have increased with Tanta a season
Whose sovereign receives reverence and veneration.
For its sanctified king, glorification and veneration

Of refusal, for in both squares there is no miser

The wellspring of this court's blessings never dwindles;
The blessings of this one, its spring never runs dry
Abundant wafts of grace are hoped for from that court.
The winds of that one, plentiful are its hopes

The province grew fertile when you alighted there,
The region has prospered since you have entered it
And no drought remains in the presence of rain.
And rain does not remain forbidden to it

Almost swayed with the rapture of the meeting.
It almost tilted from the ecstasy of the meeting

Like your father Abraham, how could it disappear?
