وَسَرحَةٍand a spreading tree فيin سَماءِthe sky of السَرحِthe trees قَدhad رَفَعَتlifted
وَسَرحَةٍ في سَماءِ السَرحِ قَد رَفَعَت
بِبَيعَةِthrough the pledge of allegiance to المُصطَفىthe Chosen One مِنfrom رَأسِهاits head تيهاin pride
بِبَيعَةِ المُصطَفى مِن رَأسِها تيها
And a towering tree—in the firmament of trees—that held
And a spreading tree, in the sky of trees, had lifted
its head high with pride because of the pledge to the Chosen One—
its head in pride at the pledge of allegiance to the Chosen One.
أَزَلتَهاyou removed it حينَwhen غالَواthey went to excess فيin الطَوافِcircling بِهاaround it
أَزَلتَها حينَ غالَوا في الطَوافِ بِها
وَكانَand was تَطوافُهُمtheir circling لِلدينَto the faith تَشويهاa disfigurement
وَكانَ تَطوافُهُم لِلدينَ تَشويها
you removed it when they went to excess in circumambulating it,
You removed it when they went to excess in circling it,
and their repeated circumambulation was a disfigurement of the faith.
and their circling was a disfigurement of the faith.
