لَم أَنسَ ما سالَت بِهِ
مِنfrom خاطِريmy mind تِلكَthose المَقاطِرthe stocks (foot restraints)
مِن خاطِري تِلكَ المَقاطِر
I have not forgotten what they sent flowing
I have not forgotten the downpour
from my mind—those stocks.
