لِلونا شُهرَةٌ في الطِبِّ تاهَت

لِلونا شُهرَةٌ في الطِبِّ تاهَت

بِها مِصرٌ وَتاهَ بِها مَديحي

Luna has won a fame in medicine

Luna has renown in medicine that has made

In which Egypt glories—and my praise glories too.

Egypt proud, and my praise glories in it.

وَمِن عَجَبٍ تَدينُ بِدينِ موسى

وَمِن عَجَبٍ تَدينُ بِدينِ موسى

وَتَأتينا بِمُعجِزَةِ المَسيحِ

وَتَأتينا بِمُعجِزَةِ المَسيحِ

And wondrously, she follows the faith of Moses,

And it is wondrous that she follows the faith of Moses,

Yet comes to us bearing the miracle of Christ.

Yet brings us the miracle of the Messiah.
