إِلىto الدِمِرداشيal-Dimirdashi وَلِيِّbestower of النِعَمfavors
إِلى الدِمِرداشي وَلِيِّ النِعَم
A gift from a wretched poet
A gift from a hapless poet
To al-Dimirdashi, the benefactor:
To Demidov, bringer of bounty
يُشرِكُhe associates partners بِاللَهِwith God وَلاand not يَشتَرِكhe subscribes
يُشرِكُ بِاللَهِ وَلا يَشتَرِك
فيin نُسخَةٍa copy فيهاin it ضُروبُkinds of الحِكَمwise sayings
في نُسخَةٍ فيها ضُروبُ الحِكَم
He associates partners with God, yet will not subscribe
He ascribes equals to God, and does not participate
To a copy containing wisdom of various kinds.
