وَرِثَتshe inherited رَقاشِRaqash اللُؤمَbaseness عَنfrom آبائِهاher forefathers
وَرِثَت رَقاشِ اللُؤمَ عَن آبائِها
كَتَوارُثِlike the inheritance of الحُمُراتِthe asses رَقمَmarkings الأَذرُعِthe forelegs
كَتَوارُثِ الحُمُراتِ رَقمَ الأَذرُعِ
Raqash inherited baseness from her forefathers,
She inherited the meanness of the ignoble from her fathers
Raqash inherited baseness from her sires,
As asses inherit the markings on their forelegs.
As she-donkeys inherit the grayness of forearms
Just as wild asses inherit the markings on their forelegs.
