من رام حفظَ طهارةٍ

من رام حفظَ طهارةٍ

وصيانَةَ القَلبِ النقي

وصيانَةَ القَلبِ النقي

Whoever seeks to preserve purity

Whoever desires to preserve purity

And safeguard the pure heart,

And protect the virtuous heart

يُمسِكْ هواهُ وغيظَهُ

يُمسِكْ هواهُ وغيظَهُ

مَسكَ العفيفِ المتّقي

مَسكَ العفيفِ المتّقي

Let him restrain his desire and his anger

Restrains their passions and anger

As a chaste, God-fearing person would.

As the chaste and devout person.
