حاشاكِ يا من عشتِ بكراً في الورى

حاشاكِ يا من عشتِ بكراً في الورى

وحشاكِ حلَّ به الإلهُ الطاهرُ

وحشاكِ حلَّ به الإلهُ الطاهرُ

Far be it from you, O you who lived a virgin among humankind,

Far from you, oh he who lived virtuously in this world,

and in whose womb the pure God dwelt,

And woe to you, whom the pure God has abandoned,

أن تمكُثي حيناً بأصغر هفوةٍ

أن تمكُثي حيناً بأصغر هفوةٍ

وقد اصطفاك اللَه وهو القادر

وقد اصطفاك اللَه وهو القادر

to remain a moment with the slightest fault,

That you would stay a moment with the most trivial of sins,

when God has chosen you, and He is the Almighty.

When God has chosen you, and He is the Able One.
