تلهوyou dally وصعبٌand difficult طردُهاexpelling it منfrom ساكنِa dweller
تلهو وصعبٌ طردُها من ساكنِ
Easy for you is welcoming a desire that comes knocking;
It is easy for you to accept an ardent suitor
You dally, yet driving it from one in whom it dwells is hard.
Who excites you, yet hard to dismiss him once he resides in you
تحريكُstirring ساكنِهاits dormant part الخفيhidden أخفُّeasier منthan
تحريكُ ساكنِها الخفي أخفُّ من
تسكينstilling ماwhat حرَّكتهit has stirred it منfrom among ساكنِwhat is still
تسكين ما حرَّكته من ساكنِ
Stirring its hidden, dormant part is easier than
Stirring your dormant desire is subtler than
Stilling whatever dormant thing it has stirred.
