مقام مريمَ في العياء منفردٌ
فوقabove الملائكthe angels منof دانٍone near ومنand of قاصِone far away
فوق الملائك من دانٍ ومن قاصِ
Mary’s station in weariness stands alone,
Mary's station in seclusion is peerless
Above the angels, both near and far.
Above the angels of every valley and hill
وفوقand above كلevery نبيٍّprophet مرسلٍsent forth رفعتshe was raised
وفوق كل نبيٍّ مرسلٍ رفعت
وذيand one possessing القداسةholiness فيin مجدٍglory لهbelonging to him خاصِdistinctive
وذي القداسة في مجدٍ له خاصِ
She was raised above every prophet sent forth,
And above every apostolic prophet she was raised
And every holy one, in the glory peculiar to him.
The Holy One in glory reserved for Him
قامتshe stood منfrom اللَهGod حدّاًa boundary أوسطاًmiddle أبداًforever
قامت من اللَه حدّاً أوسطاً أبداً
بينbetween الإلهGod وبينand between الخلقcreation لاnot العاصيthe disobedient one
بين الإله وبين الخلق لا العاصي
Through God she stood forever as an intermediary,
She stood before God for all time
Between God and creation, not the disobedient one.
A mediator between divinity and creation, not the disobedient
