1. Slake your thirst with the lives of a people
Upon whom their deeds have set a mark

2. For the clan of Rifa'a in Ma'add
Are the hoped-for refuge and helper

3. They are the virtuous ones, ritualistic and guided
And in battle as though they are eagles

4. Far from lewdness, all are chaste
And in virtue all have insight

5. They resemble one another in character
Their youngest supports the eldest
