Tell Ziyad, if you encounter his carcass,
When you meet his corpse, tell Ziyad
that the dove has flown from the sanctuary.
The dove has flown from the sanctuary.

It flew, and its primary feathers kept lifting it,
She flew, but he kept sending his henchmen after her
until it appealed to the desert and the thickets for help.
Until she cried for help in the desert and open country.
