O Harith, your two palms refuse to do anything but pour forth,
The seas refused anything from your palm except overflow
whenever the sky of sustenance grows scant in its downpours.
When the heaven's sustenance eased its struggle

Lofty is the house's roof; no man's hand
The roof is high, no hand of a person
among mankind can reach it except in the heavens.
Can reach it except through the sky

Indeed, Sukayn and his son have built for you
A little peace, and its family for you
pinnacles on a towering height whose mountains are hard to scale.
Its summits are difficult mountains

All humankind has indeed known that,
And that wilderness knew it all
wherever its riders and those on foot have met.
Where its rides and its men met
