أَبا حاضِرٍ قَنَّعتَ عاراً وَخِزيَةً

أَبا حاضِرٍ قَنَّعتَ عاراً وَخِزيَةً

أُسَيِّدَ ما أَرسى حَراءٌ وَيَذبُلُ

أُسَيِّدَ ما أَرسى حَراءٌ وَيَذبُلُ

O Abu Hadir, you have draped shame and disgrace

O my father, present and satisfied, dishonor and humiliation

Over Usayyid, as long as Hira and Yadhbul stand firm.

Have become masters of all Harra planted and grown

وَقَبلَكَ ما أَخزى تَميماً أُسَيِّدٌ

وَقَبلَكَ ما أَخزى تَميماً أُسَيِّدٌ

وَقَنَّعَهُم ما لَيسَ عَنهُم يُحَوَّلُ

وَقَنَّعَهُم ما لَيسَ عَنهُم يُحَوَّلُ

And before you, Usayyid indeed disgraced Tamim

And before you Tamim was not disgraced by Usayyid

And cloaked them in what cannot be removed from them.

Who sufficed them with what cannot be diverted from them
