If a fire dies down, then Ibn Ghalib—
If a fire dies down, then Ibn Galib
his qualities will rekindle it for visitors by night.
His nature will rekindle it for the visitors in the dark

I am the one who feeds the cold-stricken on a night of the east wind,
I am the one who feeds in the night of youth
and the most reckless of those whose outrages the reckless man fears.
And I am ignorant of those who fear the unknown consequences
