May I be a ransom for the chiefs of Tamim who followed one another
Fidya for heads of Tamim who followed
To Syria, refusing the judgment of al-Samaydaʿ.
To Syria, dissatisfied with rule of As-Samida
أَحُكمُis it the judgment of حَرورِيٍّa Haruri (Kharijite) مِنَfrom الدينِthe faith مارِقٍa renegade

Is it the judgment of a Haruri, a renegade from the faith,
I judge Haruri, deviant in religion
More astray and more misguided than a mutilated donkey?
More misguided and misleading than a lame donkey
