إِذا كَرِهَ الشَغبُ الشِقاقَ وَوَطوَطَ ال

ضِعافُ وَكانَ الأَمرُ جِدَّ بِرازِ

When the quarrelsome man hates discord and the

weak mutter, and the matter is combat in earnest,

أَمِنتَ إِذا خالَطتَ بَكرَ بنَ وائِلٍ

أَمِنتَ إِذا خالَطتَ بَكرَ بنَ وائِلٍ

بِحَبلِ بَني الجَوّالِ رَهطَ أَزارِ

بِحَبلِ بَني الجَوّالِ رَهطَ أَزارِ
