1. A saffron on the lover's cheek was nurtured
And another on the beloved was approved
١. صُفرَةٌ بِالمُحِبِّ راعَت مِنَ السُق
مِ وَأُخرى عَلى الحَبيبِ تَروقُ
2. So if you saw this one and that one
You would say which of the two is the beloved
٢. فَإِذا ما رَأَيتَ هَذا وَهَذا
قُلتَ مَن مِنهُما هُوَ المَعشوقُ
