1. Curb your steed, for this is the journey's end,
And stretch out your hand, for these are the fruits to pick.

In the three faces, the morning, and the journey.

4. Arise, preceding with praise well-received,
Whatever was tossing restlessly in the soul's thought by night.

5. Stranger! Since you have never come with an unfamiliarity,
Have you come with news except good things about him?

6. Generosity I praise more than one who stands praising it,
While people have heard nothing but from observation.

7. And do not say, when the poem ends, that you praise him:
Take it, and say "Do not blame it for this limitation."
