1. This is what I had promised
Yesterday's promise was fulfilled by today

2. So today urged me on
Not to say "do not go far"

14. So every land with dew is a paradise
And every house for prayer is a mosque

15. O God's favor which His grace
Brings faith to the one who denies

16. His kindness depletes hopes
Yet regarding the promise, it does not run out

17. Through you there is a door for Him in His land
With no refuge or destination other than it

18. And the dark-skinned of this creation attains
The watering place of His favor, and the master

19. His servant is free through His emancipation
And His freeman by generosity is enslaved

20. All of them are captives delighted
That they are most enslaved to Him
