1. You often see me staying in your abode,
So oh sea, is my staying burdensome for you?

2. Now hear from me, not your praises from me,
Nor did time blame you when I was in you.

3. Nor did glorious virtues ask your permission humbly,
And you said to them, “Enter in peace.”

4. Nor did I say, expelled in a year of famine,
But expelled by torrents of clouds.

5. And if I wearied you with staying,
Then do not blame me after it with slander.
