1. They said my pen flowed in praise of others,
No! By Him who taught man with the pen,

2. And I was never alone with your mention, there was
Another who made your mention a third, except generosity,

3. So employ that part of it which was ready,
For generosity is not with suspicion blamed,

4. Let no corrupter cut off in glory the ties
Between the hands and generosity of a womb,

5. They let go our thoughts in their ignorance,
So the sanctities of the sacred months did not place

6. All time to them is sacred months,
With you, so be in this kingdom inviolate.
