أمَارَة تسْلِيمي عليكمْ فسَلّمُوا

2. Greetings of the Most Merciful at every hour,
With spirit, basil, grace, and blessings.

٢. سلامٌ مِن الرحمَنِ في كلِّ سَاعة
ورَوْحٌ ورَيْحانٌ وفضْلٌ وأنْعُمُ

3. Upon the companions, brethren, children, and loved ones—
Summon them kindly and they will be generous and bestow.

٣. عَلى الصَّحْبِ والإخْوانِ والوِلْدِ والأُلىَ
دَعَوْهم بإحْسَانٍ فجَادُوا وأنْعَمُوا

4. And all the followers of the pure Prophetic way
Who never deviated; they have a right to precedence.

٤. وسائرِ مَن للسُّنَّةِ المَحْضةِ اقتَفى
ومَا زاغ عنها فهو حَقٌّ مُقدَّمُ

5. They are the Prophet's companions; greet them loudly!
Greet the good! Were it not for them, there would be no Muslims on earth.

٥. أولئكَ أتباعُ النبيِّ وحِزْبُهُ
ولوْلاهُمُ ما كان في الأرضِ مُسْلِمُ

6. Were it not for them, it would collapse with its people.
But its pillars and stakes are they.

٦. ولوْلاهُمُ كادَتْ تَمِيدُ بأهْلِهَا
ولكنْ رَوَاسِيها وأوْتادُها هُمُ

7. Were it not for them, it would be darkness with its people,
But they are its full moons and stars.

٧. ولوْلاهُمُ كانتْ ظلامًا بِأهْلِها
وَلكنْ هُمُ فِيها بُدُورٌ وَأنْجُمُ

8. They are my companions! Greet them elatedly,
Greet them elatedly, O excellent and perfect ones!

٨. أولئكَ أصْحَابي فحَيَّ هَلًا بهِمْ
وحَيَّ هَلًا بالطيِّبينَ وأنعِمْ

9. For each of them, a specific greeting
That will reach the nearest one to convey it and bestow.

٩. لِكُلِّ امْرِئ ٍمنهم سَلامٌ يَخُصُّهُ
يُبَلغُه الأدنَى إليهِ وَينعَمُ

10. So, O good person, convey my greeting and tell them:
Your loving friend sends blessings and greetings!

١٠. فيَا مُحْسِنًا بَلغْ سَلامِي وَقُلْ لهُمْ
مُحِبُّكُمُو يَدْعُو لكُم وَيُسَلمُ

11. As for those who blame me for loving and befriending them,
May God guide you from he who is most unjust!

١١. ويَا لائِمِي فِي حُبِّهُمْ وَوَلائِهمْ
تأمَّلْ هَدَاكَ اللهُ مَنْ هُوَ ألْوَمُ

12. With what proof or argument
Do you see my love for them as disgrace upon me and condemn?

١٢. بأيِّ دَلِيلٍ أمْ بأيَّةِ حُجةٍ
ترَى حُبَّهُمْ عَارًا عَليَّ وَتنقِمُ

13. Disgrace is but hating and avoiding them,
While loving their enemies—that is disgrace and sin.

١٣. ومَا العارُ إلا بُغْضُهُمْ وَاجْتِنابُهُمْ
وَحُبُّ عِدَاهُم ذاكَ عارٌ ومَأثمُ

14. I swear by the One who split hearts and implanted
Love in them, where it does not wear out.

١٤. أمَا وَالذِي شقَّ القلوبَ وأوْدَعَ الْـ
ـمَحَبَّة فيها حيثُ لا تَتصَرَّمُ

15. Who burdened the lover's heart until
It is too weak to bear a shirt and pains.

١٥. وحَمَّلها قلبَ المُحِبِّ وإنَّهُ
ليَضْعُفُ عنْ حَمْلِ القميصِ وَيَألمُ

16. Who subjugated them until they surrendered
To the madness of love; they do not twist nor stammer.

١٦. وَذللها حتى اسْتكانَتْ لِصَوْلةِ الـْ
ـمَحَبَّةِ لا تلوي ولا تتلعْثمُ

17. He subjugated souls despite their arrogance—
Death's threshing floors are above them; yet they covet.

١٧. وذَلَّلَ فيها أنفُسًا دُونَ ذلِّها
حِياضُ المَنايا فوقها وَهْيَ حُوَّمُ

18. You are, whether near or far O loved ones,
Our loved ones! If you are absent or present.

١٨. لأنْتُمْ عَلى قرْبِ الدِّيارِ وبُعْدِها
أحِبَّتُنا إنْ غِبْتُمُوا أو حَضَرْتُمُ

19. Ask the passing breezes how they have borne
The love of a smitten one whose longing cannot be hidden.

١٩. سَلُوا نَسَمَاتٍ الرِّيحِ كم قدْ تحمَّلتْ
مَحَبَّة صَبٍّ شوْقهُ ليْس يُكْتَمُ

20. For in their passing, they almost diffuse the passion—
If only they could speak!

٢٠. وشاهِدُ هذا أنَّها في هُبُوبِها
تكادُ تبُثُّ الوَجْدَ لوْ تتكَلمُ

21. When longing and craving intensified,
And the beautiful patience was about to snap,

٢١. وَكُنتُ إذا ما اشْتدَّ بي الشوقُ والجَوَى
وكادَتْ عُرَى الصَّبر الجَمِيلِ تَفَصَّمُ

22. I would appease myself with the prospect of meeting,
And delude myself, though it imagines.

٢٢. أعَللُ نَفْسِي بالتَّلاقي وَقُرْبِهُ
وأُوهِمُها لَكِنَّهَا تَتوَهَّمُ

23. I would follow my gaze in your direction,
Imagining encampment and dwelling.

٢٣. وأتْبعُ طرْفِي وِجْهَةً أنتُمُ بها
فلِي بحِمَاها مَرْبَعٌ ومُخَيَّمُ

24. And I recall a verse said by one who passed,
Whose patience diverted him, so he was impassioned:

٢٤. وَأذْكُرُ بَيْتا قالهُ بعضُ مَن خَلا
وَقدْ ضلَّ عَنْهُ صبُرُهُ فهُوَ مُغْرمُ

25. "I ask every departing and arriving person about you,
And gesture towards your homelands, sending greetings."

٢٥. أسَائِلُ عَنكُمْ كلَّ غادٍ ورائحٍ
وأومِي إلى أوطانِكُم وأسَلمُ

26. How long can an ardent lover endure
When the fire of grief burns within him?

٢٦. وكمْ يَصْبِرُ المُشتاقُ عمَّن يُحِبُّهُ
وفِي قلبِهِ نارُ الأسَى تتضَرَّمُ

27. Indeed! By the One to Whom the lovers made pilgrimage,
Circling with desire at the steep paths, robed in ihram.

٢٧. أمَا وَالذِي حَجَّ الْمُحِبُّونَ بَيْتَهُ
وَلبُّوا لهُ عندَ المَهَلِّ وَأحْرَمُوا

28. They called Him, so they answered readily,
Out of satisfaction and love, and He is nearer than them.

٢٨. وقدْ كَشفُوا تِلكَ الرُّؤوسَ توَاضُعًا
لِعِزَّةِ مَن تعْنو الوُجوهُ وتُسلِمُ

29. You see them disheveled on the hilltops—
Dusty, yet most content and blessed.

٢٩. يُهلُّونَ بالبيداءِ لبيك ربَّنا
لكَ المُلكُ والحَمْدُ الذي أنتَ تَعْلمُ

30. They left homeland and family out of desire,
Undeterred by pleasures or luxury.

٣٠. دعاهُمْ فلبَّوْهُ رِضًا ومَحَبَّةً
فلمَّا دَعَوهُ كان أقربَ منهمُ

31. They travel from its corners and crevices—
Men and riders—surrendering to God.

٣١. ترَاهُمْ على الأنضاءِ شُعْثًا رؤوسُهُمْ
وغُبْرًا وهُمْ فيها أسَرُّ وأنْعَمُ

32. When their eyes saw His House which
The hearts of humankind yearn for, overcome with fervor,

٣٢. وَقدْ فارَقوا الأوطانَ والأهلَ رغبةً
ولم يُثنِهِمْ لذَّاتُهُمْ والتَّنَعُّمُ

33. It was as if they had never endured hardship,
For their fatigue vanished from them.

٣٣. يَسِيرونَ مِن أقطارِها وفِجاجِها
رِجالا ورُكْبانا ولله أسْلمُوا

34. My God! How many tears poured forth,
And more poured, following in succession.

٣٤. ولمَّا رأتْ أبصارُهُم بيتَهُ الذي
قلوبُ الوَرَى شوقًا إليهِ تَضَرَّمُ

35. The lover's eye shone with its tears,
Seeing through the tears, recording.

٣٥. كأنهمُ لمْ يَنْصَبُوا قطُّ قبْلهُ
لأنَّ شَقاهُمْ قد ترحَّلَ عنْهُمُ

36. When the eye saw it, its darkness dispersed,
As did the gloom from the somber heart.

٣٦. فلِلَّهِ كمْ مِن عَبْرةٍ مُهْرَاقةٍ
وأخرى على آثارِها لا تَقَدَّمُ

37. The sight, seeing its beauty, does not recognize it
Until the eyes and longing return, greatest.

٣٧. وَقدْ شَرِقتْ عينُ المُحِبِّ بدَمْعِها
فينظرُ مِن بينِ الدُّموعِ ويُسْجِمُ

38. No wonder, since the Most Merciful annexed it to Himself;
So it is most revered.

٣٨. إذا عَايَنَتْهُ العَيْنُ زالَ ظلامُها
وزالَ عن القلبِ الكئيبِ التألُّمُ

39. He clothed it in the greatest garments of awe,
Upon which is embroidery, gloriously inscribed.

٣٩. ولا يَعْرِفُ الطرْفُ المُعايِنُ حسْنَهُ
إلى أن يعودَ الطرْفُ والشوقُ أعْظمُ

40. For this, all hearts love it,
Humbling in veneration and esteem.

٤٠. ولا عجبٌ مِن ذا فحِينَ أضافهُ
إلى نفسِهِ الرحمنُ ؛ فهو المعظَّمُ

41. They set out to perform the rites, hopeful
Of mercy and forgiveness from The Generous, Noble.

٤١. كسَاهُ منَ الإجْلالِ أعظمَ حُلةٍ
عليها طِرازٌ بالمَلاحَةِ مُعْلَمُ

42. By God! Were their souls an acceptable sacrifice,
They would humbly offer themselves to the Command.

٤٢. فمِنْ أجلِ ذا كلُّ القلوبِ تُحِبُّهُ
وتَخْضَعُ إجْلالا لهُ وتُعَظِّمُ

43. As they offered their necks to enemies in jihad,
Until their blood flowed, undaunted.

٤٣. ورَاحُوا إلى التَّعْريفِ يَرْجُونَ رحمةً
ومغفرة مِمَّن يجودُ ويُكرِمُ

44. But they humbled themselves to the ritual,
A humiliation for slaves, branding them.

٤٤. فلِلهِ ذاكَ الموقفُ الأعظمُ الذي
كموقفِ يومِ العَرْضِ بلْ ذاكَ أعظمُ

45. When they finished that burden
Which was obligatory, fulfilling their vows completely,

٤٥. ويدْنُو بهِ الجبّارُ جَلَّ جلالُهُ
يُباهِي بهمْ أمْلاكَه فهو أكرَمُ

46. He called them to the Ancient House, to visit it;
So welcome, O visitors, most generous and noble!

٤٦. يقولُ عِبادِي قدْ أتونِي مَحَبَّةً
وَإنِّي بهمْ بَرٌّ أجُودُ وأرْحَمُ

47. By God! How splendid was their visit to it,
When those prizes were attained, fantastically!

٤٧. فأشْهِدُكُمْ أنِّي غَفَرْتُ ذنُوبَهُمْ
وأعْطيْتُهُمْ ما أمَّلوهُ وأنْعِمُ

48. By God! The favors there, the grace,
Kindness, benevolence, generosity, and mercy!

٤٨. فبُشراكُمُ يا أهلَ ذا المَوقفِ الذِي
به يَغفرُ اللهُ الذنوبَ ويَرحمُ

49. They returned to their dwellings at Mina,
Attaining felicity there, enjoying themselves.

٤٩. فكمْ مِن عتيقٍ فيه كَمَّلَ عِتقهُ
وآخرَ يَسْتسعَى وربُّكَ أرْحَمُ

50. They stayed a day, two days, three,
Then it was announced they should depart and they were notified.

٥٠. ومَا رُؤيَ الشيطانُ أغيظَ في الوَرَى
وأحْقرَ منهُ عندها وهو ألأَمُ

51. They set out to stone the Pillars in the evening—
Glorifying God was their mantra; He was with them.

٥١. وَذاكَ لأمْرٍ قد رَآه فغاظهُ
فأقبلَ يَحْثُو التُّرْبَ غَيْظا وَيَلطِمُ

52. Had you seen their stand there, stretching out
Those palms, seeking mercy!

٥٢. وما عاينتْ عيناه مِن رحمةٍ أتتْ
ومغفرةٍ مِن عندِ ذي العرْشِ تُقْسَمُ

53. Calling: O Lord! O Lord! We are
Your servants, we call none but You, You know!

٥٣. بَنَى ما بَنى حتى إذا ظنَّ أنه
تمَكَّنَ مِن بُنيانِهِ فهو مُحْكَمُ

54. We hope for what You deserve to grant;
You give generously and have mercy!

٥٤. أتَى اللهُ بُنيَانًا له مِن أساسِهِ
فخرَّ عليه ساقطا يتهدَّمُ

55. When the Compeller—Exalted is His Majesty—draws near
To boast of them to His angels; He is Most Generous.

٥٥. وَكمْ قدْرُ ما يعلو البناءُ ويَنْتهي
إذا كان يَبْنِيهِ وذو العرش يهدِمُ

56. He says: My servants have come to Me out of love,
And I am righteous, generous, and merciful towards them.

٥٦. وراحُوا إلى جَمْعٍ فباتُوا بمَشعَرِ الْـ
ـحَرَامِ وصَلَّوْا الفجْرَ ثمَّ تقدَّموا

57. I call you to witness I have forgiven their sins
And granted what they hope for, and blessed!

٥٧. إلى الجَمْرةِ الكُبرَى يُريدون رَمْيَها
لوقتِ صلاةِ العيدِ ثمَّ تيَمَّمُوا

58. Receive good news, O people of this stand, through which
God forgives sins and has mercy!

٥٨. منازلَهمْ للنحْرِ يَبغونَ فضلَهُ
وإحياءَ نُسْكٍ مِن أبيهمْ يُعَظَّمُ

59. So how many freed captives, who fulfilled their freedom there!
And others striving—your Lord is Most Merciful.

٥٩. فلوْ كان يُرضِي اللهَ نَحْرُ نفوسِهمْ
لدانُوا بهِ طوْعًا وللأمرِ سلَّمُوا

60. Never was Satan more enraged in the world,
More despised than there, disgraced.

٦٠. كما بَذلُوا عندَ الجِهادِ نُحورَهُمْ
لأعدائِهِ حتَّى جرَى منهمُ الدَّمُ

61. That was due to something he saw which angered him,
So he hurriedly stroked the dust in rage and lament.

٦١. ولكنَّهمْ دانُوا بوضْعِ رؤوسِهمْ
وذلِكَ ذلٌّ للعبيدِ ومَيْسَمُ

62. Never have his eyes seen such mercy or forgiveness
Come from The Lord of the Throne, sincerely sworn.

٦٢. ولمَّا تقضَّوْا ذلكَ التَّفَثَ الذِي
عليهمْ وأوْفَوا نذرَهُمْ ثمَّ تَمَّمُوا

63. He built his edifice until he thought
His structure was firmly established, fortified.

٦٣. دعاهُم إلى البيتِ العتيقِ زيارةً
فيَا مرحَبًا بالزائِرين وأكرمُ

64. But God brought down upon it a foundation
From its base, so it collapsed, demolished.

٦٤. فلِلهِ ما أبْهَى زيارتَهُمْ لهُ
وقدْ حُصِّلتْ تلكَ الجَوائزِ تُقْسَمُ

65. How great is the worth of a building and its height
When The Lord of the Throne seeks to destroy it!

٦٥. وَللهِ أفضالٌ هناكَ ونِعْمَةٌ
وبِرٌّ وإحْسَانٌ وجُودٌ ومَرْحَمُ

66. They spent a night vigil at Mash'ar al-Haram and prayed Fajr,
Then headed to the Major Pillar, intending to stone it

٦٦. وعادُوا إلى تلكَ المنازلِ مِن مِنَى
ونالُوا مناهُمْ عندَها وتَنَعَّمُوا

67. At the time of the Eid prayer, then assume
Their ritual stations for the sacrifice, seeking its merit.

٦٧. أقامُوا بها يومًا ويومًا وثالثًا
وأذِّنَ فِيهمْ بالرحيلِ وأعْلِمُوا

68. To revive a rite of their forefather, revered.
If their souls were an acceptable sacrifice,

٦٨. وراحُوا إلى رمْيِ الجمارِ عَشِيَّةً
شعارُهُمُ التكْبيرُ واللهُ معْهُمُ

69. They would humbly offer themselves by command.
As they offered their lives to His enemies,

٦٩. فلو أبْصرَتْ عيناكَ موقفَهمْ بها
وَقدْ بسَطوا تلكَ الأكفَّ لِيُرْحَمُوا

70. Until their blood flowed from them, undaunted.
But they humbled themselves to the slaughter,

٧٠. ينادونَهُ يا ربِّ يا ربِّ إننا
عبيدُكَ لا ندْعو سواكَ وتَعْلمُ

71. A humiliation for slaves, branding them.
When they finished that burden,

٧١. وها نحنُ نرجو منكَ ما أنتَ أهلُهُ
فأنتَ الذي تُعْطِي الجزيلَ وتُنْعِمُ

72. Fulfilled their vows, and completed all,
He called them to the Ancient House, to visit it.

٧٢. ولمَّا تقضَّوْا مِن مِنًى كلَّ حاجةٍ
وسالتْ بهمْ تلكَ البِطاحُ تقدَّموا

73. So welcome, O visitors, most generous!
By God! How splendid was their visitation to it,

٧٣. إلى الكعبةِ البيتِ الحَرامِ عشيةً
وطافُوا بها سبْعًا وصَلوْا وسَلَّمُوا

74. When those rewards were attained, fantastically!
When parting drew near, and they knew

٧٤. آلام الوداع
ولمَّا دَنا التوْدِيعُ منهمْ وأيْقنُوا

75. That the rope of closeness was fraying,
Nothing remained but a stand for one bidding farewell—

٧٥. بأنَّ التدَانِي حبْلُهُ مُتَصَرِّمُ
ولمْ يبقَ إلا وقفةٌ لِمُوَدِّعٍ

76. By God! The lids wept ceaselessly there!
By God! The hearts in which passion was hidden

٧٦. فلِلهِ أجفانٌ هناكَ تُسَجَّمُ
وللهِ أكبادٌ هنالِكَ أُودِعَ الْـ

77. Were deposited there, with fires blazing within!
By God! The souls nearly melted

٧٧. ـغرامُ بها فالنارُ فيها تَضرَّمُ
وللهِ أنفاسٌ يكادُ بحَرِّها

78. From the sea of their fervor—the ardent, enamored one in genes!
You would not see anything but the shocked, confused,

٧٨. يذوبُ المُحِبُّ المُسْتهَامُ المُتيَّمُ
فلمْ ترَ إلا باهِتًا مُتَحَيِّرًا

79. Another voicing sorrow, chanting:
"I depart while my longings for you remain,

٧٩. وآخرَ يُبْدِي شجوَهُ يَترَنَّمُ
رَحَلتُ وأشْواقِي إليكمْ مُقِيمَةٌ

80. With the fire of grief burning me.
I bid you farewell while craving pulls my reins,

٨٠. ونارُ الأسَى مِنِّي تَشُبُّ وتَضْرمُ
أوَدِّعُكُمْ والشوقُ يُثنِي أعِنَّتِي

81. With my heart lodged under your protection."
There, none reproach another,

٨١. وقلبيَ أمْسَى فِي حِماكُمْ مُخَيِّمُ
هنالِكَ لا تَثْريبَ يومًا عَلىَ امرئٍ

82. If the hidden appears from him unexpectedly.
"O you leading the caravan, I implore you by God,

٨٢. إذا ما بَدا منهُ الذي كانَ يَكْتُمُ
فيَا سائِقينَ العِيسَ باللهِ ربِّكمْ

83. Stop for me at those meadows and convey greetings!
And say: 'A lover whose longing drew him to you

٨٣. قِفوا لِي على تلكَ الرُّبوعِ وسَلِّمُوا
وقولوا مُحِبٌّ قادهُ الشوقُ نحوكُمْ

84. Has fulfilled his love among you—may you live and be safe!
God, Lord of the Throne, decreed regarding what He decreed,

٨٤. قضَى نحبَهُ فيكُمْ تَعِيشُوا وَتسْلمُوا
قضَى اللهُ ربُّ العرشِ فيمَا قضَى بهِ

85. That passion blinds hearts and silences them.'"
"My departure while my love remains constant,

٨٥. بأنَّ الهوَى يُعمِي القلوبَ ويُبْكِمُ
وحُبُّكُمُ أصْلُ الهَوَى ومَدَارُهُ

86. And the fire of grief flares within me, consuming me!
I bid you farewell, with longing weakening my determination,

٨٦. عليهِ وفوزٌ للمُحِبِّ ومَغْنَمُ
وتفنَى عِظامِ الصَّبِّ بعدَ مَماتِهِ

87. While my heart is protected by you, lodged.
When death draws the final breaths from me,

٨٧. وأشواقُهُ وقْفٌ عليهِ مُحَرَّمُ
فيَا أيُّها القلبُ الذي مَلكَ الهَوَى

88. My bones will decay, but my passion remains devoted.
So greet on my behalf the gentle breeze,

٨٨. أزِمَّتَهُ حتى مَتى ذا التلوُّمُ
وحَتَّامَ لا تصْحُو وقدْ قرُبَ المَدَى

89. And ask how it has borne the passions of a smitten lover,
Whose longing is not concealed.

٨٩. ودُنّتْ كُؤوسُ السَّيْرِ والناسُ نوَّمُ
بَلى سوفَ تصحُو حين ينكشفُ الغَطا

90. For in its passing, it nearly diffuses fervor—
If only it could speak!

٩٠. ويبدو لكَ الأمرُ الذي أنتَ تكتُمُ
ويا مُوقِدًا نارًا لغيركَ ضوؤُها

91. I used to console myself with the prospect of meeting you
And delude myself, though it imagines.

٩١. وحرُّ لَظاها بينَ جنْبَيْك يَضرِمُ
أهذا جَنَى العلمِ الذي قد غرستَهُ

92. I would follow my gaze in your direction,
Imagining a square there, with encampment."

٩٢. وهذا الذي قد كنتَ ترجوهُ يُطْعِمُ
وهذا هو الحظُّ الذي قد رضيتَهُ

93. And I recall a verse said by one who passed,
Who was overwhelmed by passion:

٩٣. لِنفسكَ في الدارَيْنِ جاهٌ ودِرهمُ
وهذا هو الرِّبحُ الذي قد كسبتَهُ

94. "I ask every departing and arriving person about you,
Gesturing to your homelands, sending greetings."

٩٤. لَعمرُكَ لا رِبحٌ ولا الأصلُ يَسْلَمُ
بَخِلتَ بشيءٍ لا يضرُّكَ بذلُهُ

95. How long can an ardent lover endure
When the fire of grief burns within?

٩٥. وجُدْتَ بشيءٍ مثلُهُ لا يُقَوَّمُ
بَخِلتَ بذا الحظِّ الخسِيسِ دناءةً

96. Indeed! By the One to whom the lovers migrate,
Circling, robed in ihram, responding to the call,

٩٦. وجُدْتَ بدارِ الخُلدِ لو كنتَ تَفهمُ
وبِعْتَ نعيمًا لا انقضاءَ له ولا

97. Baring those heads in humility
For the glory of the One to whom faces bow in surrender!

٩٧. نظيرَ ببخْسٍ عن قليلٍ سيُعْدَمُ
فهلا عكستَ الأمرَ إنْ كنتَ حازمًا

98. Shouting: We are present, our Lord! Yours is the kingdom,
The praise—You know all that we conceal!

٩٨. ولكن أضعتَ الحزمَ لو كنتَ تعلَمُ
وتهدِمُ ما تَبنِي بكفِّك جاهدًا

99. They answered His call out of satisfaction and love,
So when He called them, it was as if He were nearer than them.

٩٩. فأنتَ مَدى الأيامِ تبنِي وتَهْدِمُ
و عندَ مرادِ الله تفنَى كمَيِّتٍ

100. You see them disheveled on the slopes—
Dusty, yet most content and blessed.

١٠٠. وعندَ مرادِ النفسِ تُسْدِي وتُلْحِمُ
وعند خِلافِ الأمر تحتَجُّ بالقَضَا

101. By God! How much pouring tears there!
And more flow, following in succession.

١٠١. ظهيرًا على الرحمن للجَبْرِ تزْعُمُ
تُنَزِّهُ منكَ النفسَ عن سوء فِعْلِها

102. The eye of the lover poured until it shone
Watching through the tears, recording.

١٠٢. وتعتِبُ أقدارَ الإلَهِ وتَظْلِمُ
تُحِلُّ أمورا أحكمَ الشرعُ عَقْدَها

103. When it saw the House, the gloom dispersed
From the gloomy heart, relieved of distress.

١٠٣. وتقصِدُ ما قد حلَّه الشرْعُ تُبْرِمُ
وتَفهمُ من قولِ الرسولِ خلافَ ما

104. The sight cannot recognize its beauty
Until the eyes and longing return, greatest.

١٠٤. أرادَ لأن القلبَ منك مُعجَّمُ
مطيعٌ لِداعِي الغَيِّ عاصٍ لِرُشْدِهِ

105. No wonder, since the Most Merciful annexed it to Himself;
So it is most revered!

١٠٥. الى ربِّه يومًا يُرَدُّ ويَعلَمُ
مُضِيعٌ لأمرِ اللهِ قد غشَّ نفسَهُ

106. He clothed it in the greatest garments of awe,
Upon which is embroidery, gloriously inscribed.

١٠٦. مُهينٌ لها أنَّى يُحَبُّ ويُكرَمُ
بطيءٌ عن الطاعاتِ أسرعُ للخَنَا

107. All hearts love it humbly,
Bowing in veneration and esteem.

١٠٧. مِنَ السيلِ في مَجْرَاهُ لا يَتَقَسَّمُ
وتَزْعم معْ هذا بأنكَ عارفٌ

108. They set out to the Recognition to hope
For the mercy and forgiveness of The Generous, Noble.

١٠٨. كذَبْتَ يقِينًا في الذي أنتَ تزعُمُ
وما أنتَ إلا جاهلٌ ثم ظالمٌ

109. By God! No soul offered itself more humbly,
Were it pleasing to God than theirs, sincerely obedient!

١٠٩. وأنكَ بين الجاهلِينَ مُقَدَّمُ
إذا كان هذا نصحُ عبدٍ لنفسِهِ

110. As they sacrificed themselves to His enemies in jihad,
Until their blood flowed, undaunted.

١١٠. فمَنْ ذا الذي منه الهُدَى يُتَعَلَّمُ
وفي مثلِ هذا الحالِ قد قال مَن مَضَى

111. But they went to the slaughter humbly,
A humiliation for slaves, demeaning them.

١١١. و أحسنَ فيما قالَهُ المتَكلِّمُ
فإنْ كنْتَ لا تدرِي فتلكَ مُصيبةٌ

112. When they finished that burden
And fulfilled their vows completely,

١١٢. وإنْ كنتَ تَدْرِي فالمصيبةُ أعْظَمُ
ولو تُبْصِرُ الدنيا وراءَ سُتُورِها

113. He invited them to the Ancient House, to visit
When the valley flowed with them; they enjoyed themselves.

١١٣. رأيتَ خيَالا في منامٍ سَيُصْرَمُ
كحُلمٍ بطيفٍ زار في النوم وانقضَى الـْ

114. They stayed a day and two and a third,
Then it was announced they must depart and they were notified.

١١٤. ـمنامُ وراحَ الطيفُ والصبُّ مُغْرَمُ
وظِلٍّ أتتْهُ الشمسُ عند طلوعِها

115. When departure drew near, nothing remained but
A stand for one bidding farewell—the lids wept!

١١٥. سَيُقْلَصُ في وقتِ الزوالِ ويَفْصِمُ
ومُزْنَةِ صيفٍ طابَ منها مَقِيلُها

116. By God! The hearts into which passion seeped,
The fire blazed within—how it kindled!

١١٦. فولَّتْ سرِيعًا والحُرُورُ تَضَرَّمُ
ومَطْعَمِ ضيفٍ لذَّ منه مَسَاغُهُ

117. By God! The souls nearly melted
From the seas of fervor—the ardent ones consumed!

١١٧. وبعدَ قليلٍ حالُهُ تلكَ تُعْلَمُ
كَذا هذهِ الدُّنيا كأحلامِ نائمٍ

118. You would see none but the shocked, confused;
Another displaying his torment, chanting:

١١٨. ومِنْ بعدِها دارُ البقاءِ سَتُقْدِمُ
فجُزْها مَمَرًّا لا مقرًّا وكنْ بِها

119. "I depart while my cravings for you remain,
With the fires of grief burning within.

١١٩. غريبًا تَعِشْ فيها حمَيِدًا وتَسْلَمُ
أو ابنَ سبيلٍ قالَ في ظِلِّ دَوْحَةٍ

120. I bid you farewell as longing pulls my reins,
With my heart protected amongst you."

١٢٠. وراحَ وخلَّى ظِلَّها يَتَقَسَّمُ
أخا سَفَرٍ لا يستقرُّ قَرارُهُ

121. There, none reproach another unexpectedly,
If the hidden appears from him occasionally.

١٢١. إلى أنْ يَرى أوطانَهُ ويُسَلِّمُ
فيا عجبًا ! كمْ مَصْرَعٍ وَعَظَتْ بِهِ

122. "O leaders of the caravan, I implore you by God,
Stop for me at those meadows and convey greetings!"

١٢٢. بنِيها ولكنْ عن مَصارعِها عَمُوا
سقتْهمْ كؤوسَ الحُبِّ حَتى إذا نَشَوْا

123. And say: "A lover whom longing drew to you
Has fulfilled his vows among you—may you be safe!"

١٢٣. سقتْهم كؤوسَ السُّمِّ والقومُ نُوَّمُ
و أعجبُ ما في العَبْدِ رؤيةُ هذه الـْ

124. "God, Lord of the Throne, decreed what He decreed—
That passion blinds the heart and renders it mute."

١٢٤. ـعَظائِمِ والمغمورُ فيها مُتَيَّمُ
وما ذاك إلا أنَّ خمرةَ حُبِّها

125. "I depart while my longing for you remains,
With the flames of grief flaring up within me, kindling.

١٢٥. لَتَسْلِبُ عقلَ المرءِ منه وتَصْلِمُ
وأعجبُ مِن ذا أن أحبَابَها الأُلى

126. I bid farewell while craving holds my reins,
My willing heart is under your protection, lodged.

١٢٦. تُهينُ ولِلأَعْدَا تُراعِي وتُكْرِمُ
وذلكَ بُرهانٌ على أنّ قدْرَها

127. When death takes my final breaths,
My bones will decay, but my passion remains devoted.

١٢٧. جناحُ بعوضٍ أو أدقُّ و أَلْأَمُ
وحَسْبُكَ ما قال الرسولُ مُمَثِّلا

128. Greet the gentle breeze on my behalf,
And ask how it has borne the passions of a smitten lover,

١٢٨. لها ولِدارِ الخُلدِ والحقُّ يُفهَمُ
كما يُدلِيَ الإنسانُ في اليمِّ أُصْبُعًا

129. Whose fervent longing is not concealed.
For in its passing, it nearly diffuses the ecstasy—

١٢٩. ويَنْزِعهُا عنه فما ذاكَ يَغْنَمُ ؟
ألا ليتَ شِعْري هلْ أبِيتَنَّ ليلةً

130. If only it could speak!
I used to console myself with prospect of meeting,

١٣٠. على حَذَرٍ مِنها وأمْريَ مُبْرَمُ
وهلْ أرِدَنْ ماءَ الحياةِ وأرْتَوِي

131. And delude myself, though it imagines.
I gesture towards your land, envisioning

١٣١. عَلى ظمإٍ مِن حوضِهِ وهوَ مُفْعَمُ
وهلْ تَبْدُوَنْ أعلامُها بعدَما سَفَتْ

132. Campment and dwelling.
And I recall a verse said by one who passed,

١٣٢. على رَبْعِها تِلكَ السَّوافِي فَتُعْلَمُ
وهلْ أفرِشَنْ خدِّي ثَرَى عتَبَاتِهِمْ

133. Whose patience diverted him until he was impassioned:
'I ask all who depart and arrive about you,

١٣٣. خُضُوعًا لَهم كَيْما يَرِقُّوا ويَرْحَمُوا
وهلْ أرْمِيَنْ نفسِي طرِيحًا ببابِهم

134. Gesturing to your homelands, sending greetings.'
For how long can an ardent lover endure,

١٣٤. وطَيْرُ منايا الحبِّ فوقي تُحَوِّمُ
فيا أسفِي تفنَى الحياةُ وتنقضي

135. While the flames of grief burn within?
By the One whose House the lovers migrate to,

١٣٥. وذا العتْبُ باقٍ ما بَقِيتُمْ وعِشْتُمُ
فما منكمُ بُدٌّ ولا عنكم غِنًى

136. Circling it robed, responding to the call in vigil!
They bared those heads humbly

١٣٦. ومالِيَ مِن صَبْرٍ فأسْلُوَ عنْكُمُ
ومَن شاءَ فلْيَغْضَبْ سواكُم فلا أذًى

137. For the Almighty—before Him faces bow in surrender!
Crying: We are here, our Lord! To You belongs the kingdom,

١٣٧. إذا كنتمُ عن عبْدِكُمْ قدْ رَضِيتُمُ
وعُقْبَى اصْطِباري فِي هَواكُم حميدةٌ

138. The praise—You know what we conceal!
They answered His call lovingly,

١٣٨. ولكنها عنكمْ عِقابٌ ومَأثَمُ
وما أنا بالشاكي لما ترتَضونَهُ

139. So when He called them, it was as if He were nearer than them.
You see them disheveled on the slopes—

١٣٩. ولكنَّنِي أرضَى به و أُسَلِّمُ
وحَسْبِي انْتِسابي مِن بُعَيْدٍ إلَيْكُمُ

140. Dusty, yet most content and serene.
By God! The flowing tears there!

١٤٠. ألا إنهُ حظٌّ عظيمٌ مُفْخَّمُ
إذا قيلَ هذا عبدُهُم ومُحِبُّهُم

141. And more pour, following in succession.
The eye of the lover poured until it shone,

١٤١. تَهَلَّلَ بِشْرًا وجهُهُ يَتَبَسَّمُ
وها هو قد أبدَى الضراعةَ سائلا

142. Watching through tears, focused.
When it saw His House, its darkness dispersed,

١٤٢. لكمْ بِلِسانِ الحالِ والقالِ مُعْلِمُ
أحِبَّتَهُ عَطْفًا عليهِ فإنهُ

143. As did the gloom from the somber heart.
The gaze cannot appreciate its beauty

١٤٣. لَفِي ظمأٍ والموردُ العَذْبُ أنْتُمُ
فَيَا ساهِيا في غمْرَةِ الجهلِ والهَوَى

144. Until returning with greater longing, enthused.
Small wonder, since the Merciful annexed it,

١٤٤. صريعَ الأماني عن قَريبٍ ستَنْدَمُ
أفِقْ قد دَنا الوقتُ الذي ليْس بَعدَهُ

145. Robing it in the greatest majesty.
All hearts love it humbly,

١٤٥. سِوى جنةِ أو حرِّ نار تضرَّمُ
وبالسُّنَّة الغرَّاء كنْ متمسِّكًا

146. Bowing in awe and esteem.
They headed to the Recognition, hopeful

١٤٦. هي العُرْوةُ الوُثقى التي ليْس تُفْصَمُ
تمَسَّكْ بها مَسْكَ البخيلِ بِمالِهِ

147. Of mercy and pardon from the Kind, Sublime.
By God! No soul offered itself more devotedly—

١٤٧. وعَضَّ عليها بالنواجِذِ تسْلَمُ
وَدَعْ عنكَ ما قد أحدثَ الناسُ بَعدَها

148. If it pleased God—than theirs, so sincere!
As they sacrificed themselves to His enemies in jihad,

١٤٨. فمَرْتعُ هاتيكَ الحوادثِ أوْخَمُ
وهَيِّئْ جوابًا عندما تسمعُ النِّدا

149. Until their blood flowed, undaunted.
But they humbled themselves to the slaughter—

١٤٩. مِن اللهِ يومَ العرضِ ماذا أجبْتُمُ؟
بِهِ رُسُلي لَمّا أتوْكُمْ فمَنْ يَكُنْ

150. A humiliation for slaves, demeaning them.
When they finished that rite and fulfilled their vows,

١٥٠. أجابَ سِواهمْ سوف يُخْزَى ويَنْدَمُ
وخُذ مِن تُقى الرحمنِ أعظمَ جُنَّةٍ

151. He invited them to the Ancient House, to visit.
So welcome, O visitors, most noble!

١٥١. ليومٍ بِهِ تبدو عَيَانًا جهنمُ
ويُنْصَبُ ذاكَ الجسرُ من فوق مَتْنِها

١٥٢. فهاوٍ ومَخدوشٌ وناجٍ مُسَلَّمُ
ويأتي إلَهُ العالمين لِوعْدِهِ

١٥٣. فيفْصِلُ ما بين العبادِ ويَحْكُمُ
ويأخذُ لِلمظلومِ ربُّكَ حَقَّهُ

١٥٤. فيا بُؤْسَ عَبْدٍ للخلائقِ يَظْلِمُ
ويُنْشَر دِيوانُ الحسابِ وتوضعُ الْـ

١٥٥. ـموازينُ بالقِسط الذي ليس يَظلِمُ
فلا مُجرمٌ يَخشَى ظُلامةَ ذرَّةٍ

١٥٦. ولا مُحسِنٌ مِن أجرِهِ ذاكَ يُهْضَمُ
وتشهَدُ أعضاءُ المسيءِ بما جَنَى

١٥٧. كذاكَ على فِيهِ المهيمنُ يَختِمُ
فياليْتَ شِعري كيفَ حالكُ عندَما

١٥٨. تطايَرُ كُتبُ العالمينَ وتُقسَمُ
أتأخذُ باليُمنَى كتابَكَ أمْ تَكُنْ

١٥٩. بِأخْرَى وراءَ الظَّهْرِ منكَ تُسَلَّمُ
وتقرأُ فيه كلَّ شيءٍ عمِلْتَهُ

١٦٠. فيُشْرِقُ منكَ الوَجْهُ أو هُوَ يُظْلِمُ
تقولُ كتابِي فاقرؤُوهُ فإنهُ

١٦١. يُبَشِّرُ بالفوزِ العظيمِ ويُعْلِمُ
وإنْ تكنِ الأخرى فإنكَ قائلٌ

١٦٢. ألَا ليتنِي لَمْ أوتَهْ فهو مُغْرَمُ
فبادِر إذا مادام في العمر فُسْحَةٌ

١٦٣. وعَدْلُكَ مقبولٌ وصرْفُكَ قيِّمُ
وَجِدَّ وسارِعْ واغتَنِمْ زمَنَ الصِّبا

١٦٤. ففي زمن الإمْكانِ تسْعَى وتَغْنَمُ
وسِر مُسْرِعًا فالسَّيْرُ خلفَكَ مُسْرِعًا

١٦٥. وهيهاتَ ما منهُ مَفَرٌّ ومَهْزَمُ
فهُنَّ المنايا أيَّ وادٍ نَزَلْتَهُ

١٦٦. عليها القُدُومُ أو عليكَ ستَقْدمُ
وَمَا ذاكَ إلا غيْرةً أن ينالَها

١٦٧. سِوَى كُفئِها والربُّ بالخَلْقِ أعْلَمُ
وإنْ حُجِبَتْ عنَّا بكلِّ كريهةٍ

١٦٨. وحُفَّتْ بما يؤذي النفوسَ ويُؤلِمُ
فَلِلهِ ما في حَشْوِها مِن مَسرَّةٍ

١٦٩. وأصنافِ لذَّاتٍ بِها نَتَنَعَّمُ
ولله بَرْدُ العيشِ بينَ خِيامِها

١٧٠. ورَوضاتِها والثغرُ في الروضِ يَبْسُمُ
فَلِلَّهِ واديها الذي هوَ موعدُ الْـ

١٧١. ـمَزيدِ لِوَفدِ الحُبِّ لو كنتَ مِنهمُ
بِذيَّالِكَ الوادي يَهيمُ صَبابَةً

١٧٢. مُحِبٌّ يرى أن الصَّبابَةَ مغنَمُ
وَلله أفراحُ المُحِبين عندما

١٧٣. يُخاطِبُهُم مِن فوقِهم ويُسَلِّمُ
ولله أبصارٌ ترى اللهَ جَهرةً

١٧٤. فلا الضَّيْمُ يَغْشاها ولا هي تَسْأمُ
فيا نَظرةً أهْدَتْ إلى القلب نَضْرَةً

١٧٥. أمِنْ بَعْدِها يَسْلو المحُبُّ المتيَّمُ
ولله كمْ مِن خَيْرَةٍ لو تَبَسَّمَتْ

١٧٦. أضاءَ لَها نورٌ مِن الفَجْرِ أعظَمُ
فيَا لذةَ الأبْصارِ إنْ هِيَ أقبَلَتْ

١٧٧. ويا لذَّةَ الأسْماعِ حينَ تَكَلَّمُ
ويا خَجْلَةَ الغُصْنِ الرطيبِ إذا انْثَنَتْ

١٧٨. ويا خَجْلَةَ البَحرَيْنِ حين تَبَسَّمُ
فإن كنتَ ذا قلبٍ عليلٍ بِحُبِّها

١٧٩. فلم يبقَ إلا وصْلُها لكَ مَرْهَمٌ
ولا سِيَّما في لَثْمِها عندَ ضمِّها

١٨٠. وقد صارَ منها تحتَ جيدِكَ مِعْصَمُ
يَراها إذا أبْدَتْ لهُ حُسْنَ وجْهها

١٨١. يلذُّ بِها قبلَ الوِصالِ ويَنْعَمُ
تفَكَّهُ منها العينُ عند اجتِلائِها

١٨٢. فواكهَ شتَّى طلعُها ليس يُعْدَمُ
عناقِدَ مِن كرْمٍ وتُفّاحَ جنَّةٍ

١٨٣. ورُمانَ أغْصانٍ بِها القلبُ مُغْرَمُ
ولِلوَرْدِ ما قدْ ألْبَسَتْهُ خُدودها

١٨٤. ولِلخَمْرِ ما قد ضمَّهُ الرِّيقُ والفَمُ
تَقَسَّمَ منها الحُسْنُ في جَمْعِ واحِدٍ

١٨٥. فيَا عَجَبًا مِن واحِدٍ يَتَقَسَّمُ
تُذكِّرُ بالرحمنِ مَن هو ناظرٌ

١٨٦. بجملتِها أنَّ السُّلُوَّ مُحَرَّمُ
لَها فِرَقٌ شَتَّى مِنَ الحُسْنِ أُجْمِعَتْ

١٨٧. فينطِقُ بالتَّسبيحِ لا يَتَلَعْثَمُ
إذا قابلتْ جيشَ الهُمومِ بِوجْهها

١٨٨. تولىَّ على أعقابِه الجيشُ يُهْزَمُ
ولَمّا جرَى ماءُ الشبابِ بِغُصْنِها

١٨٩. تَيَقَنّ حقًّا أنَّهُ ليسَ يُهْزَمُ
فيَا خاطبَ الحسْناءِ إنْ كُنْتَ راغِبًا

١٩٠. فهذا زمانُ المَهْرِ فهو المقدَّمُ
وكنْ مُبْغِضًا للخائناتِ لحبِّها

١٩١. فتحظى بِها مِن دونِهنَّ وتنعمُ
وكنْ أيّمًا مما سواها فإنها

١٩٢. لِمثلكَ في جناتِ عدن تأيّمُ
وصمْ يومَك الأدْنى لعلكَ في غدٍ

١٩٣. تفوزُ بِعِيدِ الفِطْرِ والناسُ صُوَّمُ
وأقدِمْ ولا تقْنَعْ بعَيْشٍ مُنَغَّصٍ

١٩٤. فما فازَ باللذاتِ مَن ليس يقدمُ
وإن ضاقتِ الدنيا عليكَ بأسرِها

١٩٥. ولم يكُ فيها منزلٌ لكَ يُعلَمُ
فحيَّ على جناتِ عدْنٍ فإنَّها

١٩٦. منازلكَ الأولى وفيها المخيَّمُ
ولكننا سَبْيُ العدوِّ فهل ترى

١٩٧. نعودُ إلى أوطانِنا ونسلَّمُ
وقد زعموا أن الغريبَ إذا نأى

١٩٨. وشطَّتْ به أوطانُه فهو مؤلم
وأيُّ اغترابٍ فوق غربَتِنا التي

١٩٩. لها أضحتِ الأعداءُ فينا تَحَكَّمُ
وحيَّ على روضاتِها وخيامِها

٢٠٠. وحيَّ على عيشٍ بها ليسَ يُسْأمُ
وحيَّ على السوقِ الذي فيه يلتقِي الْـ

٢٠١. ـمُحِبُّون ذاكَ السوق للقومِ يُعلَمُ
فما شئتَ خذْ منه بلا ثمنٍ له

٢٠٢. فقد أسلفَ التجار فيه وأسلمُوا
وحيَّ على يومِ المزيدِ الذي به

٢٠٣. زيارةُ ربِّ العرشِ فاليوم موسِمُ
وحيّ على وادٍ هنالكَ أفْيَح

٢٠٤. وتُرْبَتُهُ مِن أذفرِ المِسكِ أعظَمُ
منابر مِن نورٍ هناك وفضةٍ

٢٠٥. ومن خالِصِ العِقْيانِ لا تتفصَّمُ
ومِنْ حوْلِها كثبانُ مِسْكٍ مقاعدٌ

٢٠٦. لمِن دونهم هذا العطاءُ المفخَّمُ
يرونَ به الرحمنَ جلَّ جلالُه

٢٠٧. كرؤيةِ بدرِ التَّمِّ لا يُتَوَهَّمُ
وكالشمسِ صحْوًا ليس مِن دون أفْقِها

٢٠٨. سحابٌ ولا غيمٌ هناكَ يغيّمُ
فبينا همُ في عيشِهِم وسرورِهم

٢٠٩. وأرزاقُهُم تجرى عليهِمْ وتُقْسَمُ
إذا همْ بنور ساطعٍ قد بدا لهمْ

٢١٠. سلامٌ عليكم طبْتُم ونَعِمْتُمُ
سلامٌ عليكمْ يَسمعونَ جميعُهُم

٢١١. بآذانِهم تسليمُهُ إذْ يُسَلِّمُ
يقولُ : سلوني ما اشْتَهَيْتُمْ فكلُّ ما

٢١٢. تُريدون عِندي إنني أنا أرْحَمُ
فقالوا جميعًا نحن نسألكَ الرِّضا

٢١٣. فأنتَ الذي تُولي الجميلَ وتَرْحَمُ
فيُعطيهمُ هذا ويُشهِدُ جَمْعَهمْ

٢١٤. عليهِ تعالى اللهُ فاللهُ أكرمُ
فَبِاللهِ ما عُذْرُ امرئٍ هو مؤمنٌ

٢١٥. بِهذا ولا يَسعى له ويقدّمُ ؟؟
ولكنما التوفيقُ بالله إنَّهُ

٢١٦. يَخصُّ به مَنْ شاءَ فضلا ويُنْعِمُ
فيا بائِعًا هذا بِبَخْسٍ مُعَجَّلٍ

٢١٧. كأنكَ لا تدري بل سوفَ تَعْلَمُ
نهاية المطاف

٢١٨. فقدِّمْ فدَتْكَ النفسُ نفسَكَ إنَّها
هي الثمنُ المَبْذولُ حين تُسَلّمُ

٢١٩. وخضْ غَمَراتِ الموتِ وارْقَ معارجَ الْـ
ـمحبَّةِ في مرضاتِهم تتسَنَّمُ

٢٢٠. وسلِّمْ لَهُم ما عاقَدُوكَ عليهِ إنْ
تُرِدْ منهُمُ أن يَبْذُلُوا ويُسَلِّمُوا

٢٢١. فما ظفرتْ بالوصْلِ نفسٌ مَهِينَةٌ
ولا فازَ عبْدٌ بالبَطالَةِ يَنْعَمُ

٢٢٢. وإنْ تكُ قد عاقَتْكَ سُعْدَى فقَلْبُكَ الْـ
ـمُعَنَّى رهينٌ في يَدَيْها مُسَلَّمُ

٢٢٣. وقد ساعدتْ بالوصل غيرَكَ فَالهوى
لها مِنْكَ والواشِي بِها يَتَنَعَّمُ

٢٢٤. فدَعْها وسَلِّ النفسَ عنها بِجَنَّةٍ
من العِلم في روضاتِها الحقّ يَبسُمُ

٢٢٥. وقد ذُلِّلَتْ منها القُطُوفُ فمَنْ يُرِدْ
جَناها يَنَلْهُ كيف شاءَ ويَطْعَمُ

٢٢٦. وقد فُتِحَتْ أبْوابُها وتَزَيَّنَتْ
لِخُطّابِها فالحسْنُ فيها مُقسّمُ

٢٢٧. وقدْ طابَ منها نُزْلُها ونَزيلُها
فطوبَى لِمَنْ حلُّوا بِها وتنَعَّمُوا

٢٢٨. أقامَ على أبوابِها داعِي الهُدَى
هَلُمُّوا إلى دارِ السّعادةِ تَغْنَمُوا

٢٢٩. وقد غرسَ الرحمنُ فيها غِراسَهُ
مِن الناسِ والرحمنُ بالخَلْقِ أعْلَمُ

٢٣٠. ومَن يَغْرِسِ الرحمنُ فيها فإنَّه
سعيدٌ وإلا فالشَّقاءُ مُحَتَّمُ
