1. Twenty five years
Passed like angry clouds

2. I did not sow serenity
Nor reap peace

3. I sowed nothing but misery
Blossoming with poisons

4. And reaped nothing but days
Stretching into infinity

5. My head spins when
I count them as days

I see them as dreams

7. I walked in them unsure
With no determination

8. I struggle against malice, the envious, and illusions
Against despair, sorrow, anxiety, and people

9. And I meet fate head on
Boldly with resolve

10. My tribulations have quenched their thirst
From my ambitions and poisons

11. And whenever my fate shot me
I shot back with arrows

12. Whenever my spear bent
I straightened it to stand tall

13. My heart knows no fear
And I dread no defeat

14. I care not which way fate flows
Coming or going

15. As long as my will remains steadfast
Against the days, undeterred

16. And my catch of game
Is the most sublime

17. I have milked my days and fortunes
Without wetting my lips

18. Or seeking immortality
Or hoarding rubble

19. Twenty five years
Melted my vigor and health

20. Stones and spears plummet
Against my mother's son

21. As if they translate light
And melodies into him

25. Ignorance is the sum of my knowledge
