1. The nightingale sings melodious tunes
Making the branches hear his singing

2. He fills the human's sad face with beauty
And adorns his forehead with light

3. The streams flow gently intoxicated
Around him, and the brooks beneath

4. And the dew of the unseen sheds musk
On the imaginative soul's brow

5. The moist beam swims in existence
With the spirit of inspiration latent in it

6. Yearning shook me for music and poetry
And their tunes of lasting torment

7. I said: O nightingale of the meadows, answer me
What has stirred your latent passion?

8. We heard the singing, the chants and the laments
And the rhymes poured into us their arts

9. So pour from the balcony of epochs your tales
And have mercy on our ardent tears

10. He said: Truly, I was distracted from the light
And its magic and temptation blinded me

11. Do you see that beauty sanctified by God
Then He purified its essence?

12. What light shone on the doe in the meadow
That illuminated it like the light of Medina?

13. It is the emigration of the Prophet, and how great
Is remembering the Prophet, if you only knew!

14. Today it fills the universe with light
For God made its sources gush in the sky

15. Lat died, the state of al-‘Uzza passed away
Manat fell, and Lahah became sad

16. Glory now mourns, after the truth
Shook its passion, so it remains imprisoned

17. The sword of Islam was drawn from its glorious sheath
Its blade wet with blood from its strikes

18. An aim that the angry, cutting sword does not change
Nor do tribulations hinder it

19. A messenger who sees comfort as hell
So he is not content with stillness

20. They made wealth obedient in his hands
And gave him their kingdom to seduce him

21. And said: O Muhammad, leave alone
The devil's nonsense and his raving

22. Abandon the bold call and do
Like our fathers and what they do

23. And worship like us rocks, for benefit
Lies with them, and it is the best you ponder

24. If you wish, you can have Kisra's kingdom
So enjoy what you wish to have

25. You see wealth on earth like mountains
So satisfy your infatuated desires

26. That was a great whim, O Abu Jahl
Do you want degradation for the Chosen One?

27. May God curse whoever witnesses the clear truth
Yet does not care to protect it

28. Do you see in wealth, kingdom, and status
Deception that you hope will weaken him?

29. God knew it is the call of truth that will prevail
By the sword, however much you fabricate

30. God's Paradise is profitable, and God's meadow is bliss
So who can compete with his religion?

31. The army of Islam marched in the mission of disbelief
And leveled its plains and valleys

32. And went on to eternity, helped by God
With an army of self-sacrificing, protected men

33. The honest, truthful one called out
"Come! Emigrate to Medina!"

34. And spread the faith gently until
The truth appears after you conceal it

35. Lord of destiny, aid my men
And pour patience, guidance, and tranquility

36. The supporters of heroism are few
And the enemy hordes fill Medina

37. A tremor shook the edifices of Christianity
So they are doomed to destruction and collapse

38. The light was snatched from your land, O Mecca
So remain an orphaned pauper

39. Rejoice, O Medina, today with the Guide
And bring beauty from the cities

40. Scatter flowers, fragrance, and seating
Wherever you wish to hold court

41. The religion of the Prophet now resides in you
Or the Prophet will remove its gloom

42. It will blossom after the struggle over
The world, and the safeguarded way will remain

43. Like molten iron, growing more beautiful
After the hellfires have polished it for years

44. O Messenger of peace and justice, this
Is a cry from an obsessed woman

45. Today I stand while perils surround
To see the riders who lost the ship

46. In the turbulent waves they raised the banners of sins
Not on a safe shore

47. And lost a religion whose shadows kept driving
Disbelief away, like a lion guarding its den

48. So instill strength in the youths
And fortify the bending wills

49. O lions of evil and cubs of Taha
So unite and come together in ranks

50. And protect the clear way of the Prophet
For the life of stagnation is a kind of death

51. And the one who takes truth as religion has honor
